Q: I've returned 4 other brand dog beds so far because they have so little padding. For a Larger 80lb dog, is there good support and firmness?

The padding is 2 1/2 inches thick. Because I have it on hard wood flooring, I have it sitting on and additional 1” pad. My two fur babies weigh approx 12 pounds each oand share the bed. They love to lay on the bed with their heads resting on the elevated side.

Q: What needs to be put together with this bed. I just ordered. Dog beds don’t usually need to be assembled.thanks

There is instructions that come with the bed. It’s pretty self explanatory. No tools required. You have to let the memory foam set for 48 hours then you just insert it into the casing. Need to the bolster in if your bed comes with it. The instructions tells you all this.
