When planning my recent bathroom renovation, my wife wanted something to sit on while shaving her legs. I chose this seat because:1. It mounts to the wall with 5 large lag bolts2. it folded very flat to the wall3. It folds down in one motion, with no support leg to deal withBecause I was able to plan, and already had the walls stripped to the studs, I mounted a 2x8 between the wall studs to attach this. I am very happy I did that, and am not too sure I would trust that the large wall anchors that came included would last over time. In my opinion, this should be attached to at least one wall stud.As you can see in the picture, I painted the plastic trim piece in antique bronze to match my other fixtures. However, the chrome finish that it came with was very high quality and would have lasted a long time. It was actually very hard to sand/scuff it to take paint, but it is doable and the finish came out perfectly.The seat itself is very solid, and I don't anticipate having any problems in that regard.You can't really tell from the pictures and description, but the front edge when folded down is about 2 inches higher than the back. For this reason, I set the top of the included drilling template at exactly 16 inches, which put the from edge at 18 inches above the shower floor. That is the perfect height for an average person (I am 5'7"). The lower back edge actually makes it quite comfortable.I can't think of a single thing I don't like about it at this point.

My dad has Parkinson's so is important for him to have someone to sit when he takes a shower. How's impressed to see they have some really hardcore anchors that came with the seat. Attaching it to our shower wall was little bit tricky but it wasn't too difficult. He just required to write drill bit not to crack the tiles. But that has nothing to do with his seat as after it was installed and I tested it out it felt great and sturdy. My wife bought one for her mom as her mom's also reaching the age where shower sitting down is probably safe we didn't standing up.

Hello, I haven't had the bench placed on my wall in my bathroom since renovations are still pending. However, I have taken the bench from its box and inspected it. It looks and feels extremely sturdy and highly durable. I like the quality of its craftsmanship as it looks to be very well constructed. I'm excited about putting the foldable bench on the wall and in its proper place. I do plan to use the bench quite often and I feel confident it will hold up very well.
