This is a great product for after you shave. It cools your face and smell greats. I'm bald so I also use it on my head and does a great job of moisturizing my head. Highly recommend!!!

I am a long time DE Safety Razor user and use many different products. Proraso, in general, produce reasonably priced products that perform well. I have other products I use, but the Proraso Balm is a go-to, excellent product. I use it after applying Proraso after shave lotion. The Balm is ever so subtly fragrant and pairs well with the Proraso lotion. The product feel after it dries is wonderful and long lasting. Proraso is a long time shaving product producer, and like ever other Proraso product I've tried, the Balm does not fail to impress. Did I mention reasonably priced compared to most other products?

Great aftershave balm. Scent is amazing. Cools razor irritation almost instantly.

I love .... love the sandalwood. However, it's not moisturizing enough and very thin in consistency.

The effects of this balm are excellent: cooling, soothing, and moisturizing. It's very pleasant going on, and it definitely makes one skin feel better after a shave. The scent is...not as great. It isn't terrible, but it's a sweet, flowery, high-note, almost feminine sort of smell, and a product described as "sandalwood" should have a richer, earthier scent. I realize that a bottle of reasonably priced after shave like this is going to be "sandalwood scented," not actually scented by sandalwood oil--it would be far too expensive given the price of this product to use even the least expensive varieties of sandalwood essential oil as the main fragrance ingredient--but again, putting "sandalwood" on the label provides expectations of at the general idea of how it should smell, and it's not close to what I expected. It's not an outright unpleasant scent, but I wouldn't want something to smell of citrus if the label that said it had rich, musky scent. Smells are highly subjective and not easy to describe in words, but I'm sure most people would agree that this isn't a sandalwood smell. And I'm sure some people would love it, but I do not. I will say that the scent is long-lasting, but after a couple hours, all the subtlety of the scent is gone and the only thing my nose picks up is a cloying sweetness. This is my first experience with Proraso aftershave and I've very much liked all their other products (the pre-shave cream especially is fantastic), so I will definitely try another variety of their aftershave.

This is my favorite way to finish my shave. It moisturizes and leaves a great scent - I will be a lifelong customer. Buy this with confidence!

I've had the blue, green and white Proraso balms for several years. I love the green and white but couldn't deal with the scent of the blue. I really enjoy the performance of the blue shaving cream and ironically I enjoy the scent as well. Go figure. I love the red shaving cream tube and have always wondered why they didn't make the red balm. The sandalwood scent of the shaving cream it wonderful. Well, they finally did it and I bought a bottle. The scent is intoxicating and really leaves my face feeling moisturized and soft. I highly recommend this balm for your collection. It's about time Proraso!
