Revolutionary
So, it's a $30 metal straw with a filter bit and a silicone tip. It's a bombilla for gringos, which I readily admit I am. It costs triple as much as an entry level drip brewer, and at least $10 more than any pourover device (as long as its name isn't Chemex). For the price of 6 Starbucks orders, you can have this straw, a cleaning wand, and a tiny canvas baggy to put it in. And you know what? It rules them all. The way I always understood things in the world of coffee was that an Aeropress is the smallest, simplest, and most portable way to get your daily cup without gulping a mouthful of grounds. You couldn't do better than that, I thought. Then this popped up. It's the size of a pencil. It weighs as much as a butter knife. You can stick it in your pocket, or in your hiking boot, or in your hair, or "other places". You can stow it in your car's center console, your silverware drawer, your desk at work, your purse, your kid's art supplies bin. You can lose it in your backpack, or you can forget your toothbrush at home because you thought you packed it when you actually grabbed this. You can annoy your TSA agent with coffee snob talk while they dig through your bag and confirm that your straw is not a deadly weapon or drug paraphernalia. All you need to add is a bag of grounds, a cup, and a source of hot water. There's no learning curve, no fancy prep method, no blooms, no pressurizing, no mess, no kitchen counter footprint. It's a straw. And yes, it makes good coffee. There's not much that needs explaining. It is a stainless steel pipe with a fine mesh filter on the bottom and a silicone sleeve on the top, both of which can be removed for easy cleaning. You put the grounds and hot water straight into your cup, add your creamer or 3 pumps of passionfruit or whatever you like, and then you stir it, give it a few minutes, and then you sip it through the straw. You know, so the gritty stuff doesn't get in your mouth. When it gets low, you can tip your mug forward to separate the last drops of blessed bean juice from the clump of grainy murk. Rinse out the cup, run some water through the straw for exactly 5 seconds, put it back in the bag and then carry on with your life. Too lazy for that? Throw it in the dishwasher. It's not a new method of making coffee; it's the perfection of a very, very old method. It's 2025, and you can sip your great grandpappy's cowboy joe out of your favorite Stanley cup from an eco-conscious, small business-supporting filter straw in Agave Blue, feeling like a purist hipster as much as a rugged outdoorsman. It will offend some people's manhood, but it sure won't offend your mouth. I'm absolutely dumbfounded that this thing hasn't taken off yet. I pretty much just stumbled across it here on the 'Zon, where it has 700 reviews as of writing. Seven. Hundred. I may have seen an ad for it on social media once, but I may as well have hallucinated it. There's one or two YouTube reviews out there, a couple website mentions, and that's it. Jogo, you have a product to topple Aeropress from its travel-friendly throne. Act like it. Grab some TikTok influencers and you will be rolling in the dough overnight. My mom is no simpleton about coffee, and she wanted one as soon as she saw the tiny bag in my hand. My dad is as simple as it gets, and if I got him one, it would end his relationship with instant coffee immediately. Go get your money, Jogo. And tell the yerba mate drinkers you plagiarized thank you for me.

Finally, a Fine-Mesh Bombilla
This works great for loose-leaf tea blends and is excellent for yerba mate. Many traditional bombillas I tried in the past let fine yerba mate particles through, which was always unsatisfying. Years ago, I found a little-known product called the Ultimate Bombilla (see photo) that finally solved this problem by using a fine mesh filter, and it cost about $2.50. It worked extremely well for me, but it was plastic, not very attractive, and not designed with cleaning in mind. I always wondered why that fine-mesh concept hadn’t been redesigned in a more modern, practical bombilla. This JoGo does exactly that. It filters just as effectively, looks far better, and is much easier to clean. It is a bit on the expensive side, and I initially thought the cup would be included (it isn’t), but even so, it’s still worth it to me as an avid tea drinker. I don’t use it for coffee, so I can’t comment on that. Overall, I’m really pleased. Time will tell how the silicone mouthpiece holds up, but so far it’s been great.

Dad’s morning routine lifesaver!!! ☕️🙏
My kids, I am sure with no help from my wife 😉, finally got tired of watching me "borrow" mom's coffee gear and surprised me with my own JoGo for my birthday, complete with a tip matching my favorite mug they got me for Father’s Day. As a father of four wonderful chaos-makers, this little device has revolutionized my morning coffee routine. Between school drop-offs, soccer games, and those hectic mornings when a pour-over feels like climbing Mount Everest, my JoGo has become my go-to companion. The simplicity is what makes it perfect - just add grounds, hot water, and I'm ready to tackle whatever adventures my quartet of tiny humans has in store. The fine mesh filter delivers a clean cup every time, and cleanup is as simple as a quick rinse. I was worried there would be issues with grounds or over-extraction, as a recovering coffee snob pre-kids, and I have been happily surprised with how good the cup is. Similar to a French press, but somehow better, maybe it’s the controlled tip and how it hits your tongue? Or maybe it’s just magic... I love that it also comes with a little carrying pouch and a cleaning brush. So convenient! I'm so impressed that all my brother and sister-in-laws are getting one in their stockings this year (don't tell them!). Thanks, kids, for the perfect gift. Dad promises to stop "borrowing" mom's coffee gear now! ❤️

Eliminates the need for a coffee maker.

It serves it purpose perfectly
I do love this straw. The fact that you can just put coffee grounds or loose tea and hot water in your cup and go. No need to brew a whole pot of coffee/tea. Ive used the refillable coffee pods and no matter what I do I end up with grounds in my cup. Ive used different tea strainers and end up with loose tea in my cup. This straw filter is very fine so nothings gotten past it. Only cons I can think of are the price $24-$30 is high for a straw with filter and the length I use 30-40 cups most of the time and this straw is max 16 oz tall cup.

No grinds, easy enough to clean.
Exactly what I wanted - and no grinds come thru!

Really strong brew, no grounds get thru, perfect!
Love that this made a strong, mellow, almost thick tasting coffee- like a French press would. It’s super easy to use and no grounds go through straw, even with finely ground coffee. Delicious and easy to use, easy to Clean with spin off filter and provided pipe cleaner. Only cautionary point: if you are someone who takes their time and drinks their coffee slowly over the morning hour… sitting in grounds seems to make this extra caffeinated. It defn felt like my 2nd or 3rd cup not first the day I took my time!

French Press flavor, but WAY more convenient.
Okay, I bought this on impulse, and after ordering it, was POSITIVE that I'd made a mistake, that this was going to be a stupid purchase that I was going to send back. I was wrong. This thing is AMAZING. If you're a fan of coffee, if you like the flavor that you get from a good French Press, then you owe it to yourself to get a Jogo, as in RIGHT NOW. I simply can't express how great this thing is! I've been using it every single day for my coffee, and now my poor coffee maker just sits there, looking sad and neglected. In addition to making it easy to enjoy a great-tasting cup of coffee, it's also VERY convenient. Just grind the coffee, put in the cup, add water...and you're done. Making the coffee is fast, clean-up is a breeze...it's perfect, for both home use, AND for travel. You could actually carry the Jogo and your favorite coffee with you anywhere, and all you need is hot water. Why are you still reading this? Order one!! NOW!!

Great for tea and coffee
Great item, works perfectly. Thought the cleaning brush was missing but found it when I took it apart to clean! (It ships inside the straw) Great for loose leaf tea. Just brew it in the cup and drink. No need for teapot or strainer. Helps avoid tooth staining too.

Absolutely fantastic. I highly recommend.
I was a little skeptical but had watched a few YouTube videos and everyone was saying how great it was. Honestly it's brilliant.... works just like they say, perfect coffee everytime and you can take it anywhere. I just want to add it works just as well with loose Tea also.... One thing is the cleaning brush is inside the straw when you buy it, so make sure to take it out first. A+

Excellent quality and easy to use and clean.
The JOGO brew straw is easy to use and easy to clean and works great. Everything is of excellent quality. The cleaning brush is excellent. I can easily insert the cleaning brush into the straw and silicone tip. It's less expensive than most coffee makers and it doesn't take up space on your kitchen counter like a coffee maker does.
