when it says hand orientation does that mean the hand at the top of the stick?

If you hold the hockey stick with your right hand on top of the stick and your left hand down the stick, you are a left-handed shooter.

If you wear skates that about 3" plus just hold a tape measure like a stick and give yourself a couple extra(46" for kids)
