AviPas Cameras with a HuddleCam Joystick
This works out of the box with PTZ cameras. Please note that a cascading (chain) cable features cross over circuitry. You will not be successful controlling your PTZ cameras by purchasing straight through cables. We use two AviPas cameras to a HuddleCam joystick.

Works as expected - a note about coupling
These worked great with my PTZ optics cameras. One note - if you ever need to couple these together, you can, but you need to have the right VISCA 8 pin coupler. Not just any Mini-Din to Mini-Din 8 pin coupler. If it is not made to carry VISCA, it probably won't work. If you find this helpful please indicate.

Clean connection
The cable seems to be well constructed. It is a little long for most uses but for the few times there’s a long distance between plz cameras it works well.

Works well with Sony PTZ cameras and BR300 remote control.
I'd brought a load of other misc 8 pin mini DIN serial cables.. Which either didn't work.. OR seemingly lead to misc communication issues between the cameras in the VISCA chain and BR300 PTZ controller that was controlling them.. But THIS was THE FIRST cable to PROPERLY WORK WITH THEM for once.
