Easy to install. Easy to use. Good for my private owned guesthouse.

I ordered three of these locks, two for my house doors and one for my garage door. They all worked great until recently when the garage door latch failed. I contacted Sifely, and they immediately offered a replacement. I love the ease of operating these locks and the feeling of security they provide. While the one latch failed, I think it was just a fluke and not indicative of the overall quality of this product. That’s why I asked for a replacement rather than switching brands.

Appearance: I was so excited to receive this item and install it to finish up my game room look I was going for. I chose the gold look and upon review of the components, they were all good, no scratches or dents of any kind. The items felt good in the hand and not as if they were completely cheaply made. The handles had some weight to them. All in all I couldn’t wait for the install. Installation: I remembered there was a video of the installation of this product before I purchased it and that’s what I went off of. Made things super quick and simple and easy to follow. The one thing I’d recommend that should be mentioned in showed in the video is regarding the placement of the wired connection on the inner side as you connect the inner and outer pieces together. In the video it isn’t clear enough of how it’s placed and caused a minor hiccup in the installation as I had to find a place to put the connection to be able to push the inner piece to the mount to screw the outer piece in place. For me the rest of the process went smooth. I have 2 small concerned complaints: first is the door handles are tightened in place by a very small screw with a provided Allen wrench. We’ll see how well the screw holds up. Second: the cap covering the keyed access isn’t held on or tied on by anything so once the piece is removed it’s up to the user to put the piece back. In other words I feel it can be lost easily. In a way, it’s very easy to take them off and switch to other side if needed. After charging some batteries, installing the fully charged batteries, downloading the phone app (on iPhone 13 Pro), following the video to connect my locking device to the app was very simple and easy. I also tried the many other options (using keyed in codes on the keypad, fingerprints, included rf cards, and keys). Everything worked and went smooth. Tried the fingerprints the next day and all is well. This unit does speak (unlocked, locked, battery low, using keypad…and such). Not sure if this feature can be turned off but I like it so it stays on for me. Will update review if anything worthy to report. Overall Price: I feel the price may be a bit too high but according to other similar locking devices and the technology used, it’s acceptable.

Original Post: Lasted one year. Since unit broke after a year. Update Post: So updating my rating. After my original post the company contacted me. Asked how they could make it right. I told them how the unit failed on me and they offered me no strings attached to send a new unit. A new unit came three days later. So impressed with the customer service. Would give them five stars but since original unit failed have to take off something but will give the company a lot of credit for quickly fixing the problem.
