Not stainless steel.

Buen set de cuchillos, pero no son damasco
Muy buen set, los he tenido por varios meses en uso, solo que sí necesitan de vez en cuando unas pasadas por la piedra de afilar

Really sharp but not Damascus- it is laser etched!
Very sharp and easy to sharpen. Not really good for butchering brisket or other large pieces of meat.

Not Stainless
Bought the set of 5 knives and scissors with the block for Christmas, now as of January 9th they have already started to rust. They don't get washed right away but they do get rinsed and they don't sit in water.

Amazing quality
We finally decided to invest into good quality knife set and wow we are so happy and satisfied with these. We love how easy it was to cut into our delicata squash and how fast it was to chop cilantro. Also, the bread knife really blew me away! It gave me beautiful homemade bread slices.
