Great Picture Quality & Performance on Par with more expensive brands (will buy more!)
I've owned a lot of "brand-name" cameras thru the years and these are BY FAR the best cameras I've used for the money. The photo quality is as good or better than many of the higher cost brand names! Also, I have been using them now for two years with NO Problems.... and the cost is about 40% of the name brands! I own 4 of these models now & I plan to buy more...

Indoor/Outdoor motion detection camera with Excellent night vision
Indoor/outdoor motion detection field camera. Has 4k camera, takes nice picture looking at it's play back function. Well made, I like many of the functions and look of the camera. Excellent night vision video in full color! Now what I don't like it eats up the batteries, it doesn't come with everything you need to used camera such as the 8 AA batteries, SD card and power supply card if you want to run it on external power source. You do get the USB A to C cable to transfer photo or video to and external device. Other than that I am very happy with this unit. I gave a 4 star because it wasn't functional complete.

Great Cameras and Killer Prices
I've used a lot of different kinds of trail cameras, Moultrie, Exodus, a few Spartans, BlackGate and most recently Tactacam... Tactacams are my cellular go to - but after using GardePro Non Cellular I'm tempted to switch over. I don't have any cameras that are as clear as these are I don't know how the cellular ones go but the fact that Moultrie and tacticam don't have this clear of pictures even with the SD card blows my mind. I left both of them out on public land for almost a year batteries were still good in both cameras and each one had captured about 400 pictures So far the best pictures I've ever gotten out of the woods lol. I research everything and try to only go with the best, to me there is no comparison especially when you add in price- like I said, I can't speak on the cellular version I wanted standalone because there's no service down there - If that's what you need don't hesitate to buy these. (That's a picture of my computer screen)

Awesome quality photos and video!
All I can say is these cameras are awesome! We have used Bushnell trophy cams for several years and after just getting a new one and not that impressed decided to try these cheap Gardepros after reading someone's review about the Bushnells. These Gardepros are so eady to set up, idiot proof. We have compared videos to our Bushnell and found the Gardepro is clearer, night illumination goes much farther and we have the Gardepro set on lower quality video than the Bushnell. We initially bought 2 cameras then ordered 3 more. Got the first ones for just $45, now they are more. If they should bite the dust early we're still way ahead of the $350 cameras.

Disappointed in this game camera!
I'm a huge wildlife game camera hobbyist and I have multiple game cameras deployed for wildlife viewing and footage. I saw someone posted the images of one of these cameras and I thought they looked really sharp, so I decided to purchase one to test out on my line-up for myself. This camera was nothing but disappointment and aggravation for me. No matter how low I set the motion settings, this thing would trip off all day and night with nothing of note in the images. Resulting in drained batteries, full SD cards of hundreds of false captures, and no images of anything of interest to show. Trigger speeds would miss wildlife. Picture quality was subpar. The field of field of view was also really weird and narrow as compared to my other camera brands set up in same locations. I finally got tired of dealing with it and took it off the line. I did notice it is basically the exact same design and function of Meidase cameras, which I have several of those, and have been pleased with their performance, but this GardePro one really sucked. Glad I only purchased the one to test out versus several at once as I had originally planned on doing.

Simple but Functional
EDIT: I bought a second one of this same model to monitor my driveway. It works fine and is easy to set-up when I depart and fast to check and erase when I come home. Frankly, there are so many game camera varieties to choose from, I have no idea if this one is the best or state-of-the-art. It really doesn't matter as it is affordable and does the job just fine. I am not a hunter or technology buff so good enough is good enough. Main Review: I dislike exotic features and complications. A basic flip phone and simple tablet are my only devices. My TV is just a DVD/BR player model with no wireless connections, streaming, or cable. So, when I needed a no frills security device to monitor my door while I was away, I thought of a self-contained game camera. This one had good instructions, the ability to take still photos, and didn't require a connection to a smartphone. I didn't need any capabilities except quick turn-on at departure, and fast photo check and easy erase when I got home from work. Initial set-up up was smooth even for a technology avoider like me. I will add edits as I get experience with the camera about durability, battery life, etc.

Love the camera, I captured this vicious hedgehog fight on the first night!
My camera arrived yesterday and overnight i caught this amazing footage of two hedgehogs fighting! The footage is so much sharper than my old trail cam. Very happy with the quality, functions and ease of use

Excellent!
First of all, this is my new favourite thing in the world! I don't like to promote consumerism but I can honestly say that my life has been enriched after getting this camera. The excitement and anticipation of viewing the high quality footage or stills is like Christmas every day. I'm lucky enough to live in a place with lots of wildlife so the biggest problem is choosing where to aim the camera. The housing is robust and waterproof (it still recorded decent night time footage even in a downpour), the quality of footage is brilliant and the sound is one of the highlights too. You may have to play around with getting your distance from the subject right depending on your settings (sensitivity/exposure capping etc) but the menu is very easy to navigate. There are loads of options and features to fully customise your setup. The strap is secure and it has a standard tripod mount thread which is very useful. Possibly the only thing that I don't like about this camera is the location of the screen; if you aren't too fussed about composition, then just turn it on and close the door, if you need to check you are pointing in exactly the right direction though, you have to do it as best you can BEFORE you mount it since the screen is in the door (which swings open away from the housing with the mounting options) but, even with this set back it's not too much of a big deal! I have used standard, Energizer rechargable batteries; if you are leaving it for a long time, or expect lots of long clips then I would go with the manufacturers recommendation of Li-ion batteries, but for me standard have been ok so far. All in all this is a wonderful product at an affordable price that gives you and incredible insight into the natural world. (The attached video is a "screenshotted" clip from a longer recording, the light coloured 'dots' at the end are my fault, not the cameras!)

Not a bad bit of kit!
It's compact and appears to be waterproof. I bought a mini tripod to go with it and as its quite low to the ground, it hasn't fallen over in the wind. It does go through batteries at quite a rate, especially if you want a half decent image. It won't purely stick to videos.. keeps doing videos and photos and that's not what it's been set up on. It's definitely on videos only. It's lovely to see the animals at night and the pictures in the day are very clear. Always turn off when not in use though... save batteries. It suggested not having rechargeable ones as they don't give enough power, but think I will try as spending a lot on batteries. It's also very easy to put the sd card in the computer and view that way. I'd say I'm glad I got ยฃ20 off as still quite expensive at ยฃ80.

Fantastic! Easy to use and such fun!
At last I have used this - spring being ideal. I've in a rented apartment next to a golf course and last night set this up on the lawn at the back, pointing along that dividing fence. It is very easy to use and in fact I'd not then even looked at the menus, or even bothered after inserting batteries, to set up its date/time (hence in the pics these being wrong) ... I just strapped it to a garden table leg - pointed it the right direction and switched it on and to - 'set'. I didn't even look at the instructions. First night out and say hello to Mr. Reynard ( or is it Mme Renarde?) . Cleary it triggers perfectly with a bright and decent resolution image and good sound. 'Night vision' tends to have that more diffused look, so I've included the day shot as a true reflection of the crispness of the images you can expect in day time. These were all at the 1080p setting. The length of video can be set to preference as can the number of pictures shot in a burst when triggered. sound. I've yet to explore all the features but they seem comprehensive. I like also it not only allows the date/time to be shown on the image/video, but also the temperature. I think that could be very interesting if using this in the depths of a snowy winter. It does take a prodigious number of batteries but I understand battery life to be good and since I purchased rechargeable batteries - battery life is not even a consideration as to its cost of use. Where I live, seeing a fox was not a surprise, but I was delighted to see this badger strolling through the garden, even if I think this also reveals what is digging divots in our lawn! I know some local spots where there are deer and increasingly rare n the UK - hares, so I am looking forward to using it there. It also has a camouflage finish so with the addition perhaps of some leaves twigs and grasses, I think I'd be happy to place it in public woods overnight without concern for it being spotted and stolen. Also last night it rained heavily and it was good to see that it's absolutely fine in such weather. I love it! Who knows what it will reveal. (I heard of one person who placed on in his back garden and in the middle of the night some old man walked through it, seemingly without a care in the world - I don't think it picks up ghosts!!

Great night camera
Bought the camera last year to see what was visiting our garden. Turned out it was hedgehogs, moved the camera about to see where they were going in and out of our garden but took the camera in when the weather got colder. Fast forward to March this year and decided to see if they were active and sure enough they were. Decided to invest in a feeding station that was covered and had two entrances that were cat deterrent, the camera revealed straight away it they were not and aided in efforts to make it cat proof. Once the hedgehogs started to use it regularly the number of pictures and videos increased to the point where batteries were being used about every 3 to 4 weeks. As a solar panel for this camera was quite expensive I decided to upgrade to some other make of camera one with a built in solar panel 4k video higher definition photos and low glow infrared with more light output for the higher definition lens. First night with the new camera no hedgehogs but all the food gone, used gardepro camera to cover the same spot as well next night, gardepro 9 videos new camera 2, subsequent nights proved the same but often new camera not able to get anything at all apart from photos of cats visting. The other major difference that became apparent was the difference in range of the cameras illuminated area, the gardepro is much more even whereas the other camera is more torch like with less visible range. The gardepro is very good at detecting the hedgehogs and the sound it captures is very good, we can hear the hogs crunching away in the feeding station which is 5 metres away quite easily as well as capturing the other noises they make. The view angle of 63 degrees is good for our small garden, the other camera was 120 degrees, so better quality but smaller image is not a great advantage. Needless to say the other camera was returned as is wasn't able to capture the hedgehogs and wasn't as sensitive to movement, the sensor may have been not up to the standard it should have been but the images and videos were not as good overall. The nighttime photos the gardepro produce aren't that good but the video performance more than makes up for that as does its ability to detect things in the garden and the sound it records. I have purchased a compatible solar panel with battery to run the feeding station camera and have just purchased another gardepro a3s to be my roving night camera based on its nighttime performance. The daylight photos and videos are very good but it excels at nighttime so for my requirements it is ideal.
