These socks are soft but thick and sturdy, so I expect these will last quite a bit longer than most of the socks I tend to buy. The colors are super cute and I love that the different combinations support different causes and charities! My only feedback is that they're not really true to size, they run large. So if you have small feet be prepared for the heels of the socks to come up on your ankle, but if you have larger feet (at least a women's 8.5), then they should work better for you.

As an animal lover, i really like these socks. I like the little pawprint on them. I also liked how nicely they were packaged. I wish I knew how much of the purchase price was donated. They would make a nice gift for another animal lover as they come so nicely boxed.I wore a pair of them and I washed them. The worn pair is in top and the new pair is on the bottom. They do shrink a little when washed but then when I wore them again, they stretched right back into shape and size for me. They fit me well—I wear a size 8 1/2 shoe.

The box is nice and sturdy.I like that the cotton used in these socks is fair trade. I do wish there was a higher cotton content. I don't love that the polyester makes these socks warmer. It also makes them feel a bit less soft than most of my socks.These are fairly plain socks with a small dog paw embroidered on them.At $40, these are expensive for three pairs of socks. That money does go to fair-trade materials, more eco-conscious manufacturing, and the donation to Best Friends. I do wish that it were clearer how much money Best Friends gets from every box sold.

I marked these down by one star only because the description isn't accurate. These aren't ankle socks; they are low profile no shows.Otherwise, they are wonderful. Super comfy. Nicely padded. Black, gray, and light gray which are great colors for me. And I know that people make fun of getting socks as a gift. But I love it when people give me socks, because I hate buying them. Who wants to buy their own socks? These are really nicely presented, and each purchase donates money towards a great cause. DOGS. So, buy them for yourself! Or buy them for someone else. Your dogs will be happy. (Pun intended.)Therefore, I decree these socks excellent.

I love socks! these Conscious Step Women's Fair Trade Organic Cotton Ankle Socks are not only comfortable and attractive, but when you buy them, apparently a portion of the money you spend goes to a charity organization. These would make a terrific gift. The socks are colorful, and are made from fair-trade organic cotton. There are a myriad of charities that you can choose from--you can decide which charity your dollar supports. These packs are nicely packaged, colorful, and tasteful.

These socks are the perfect thickness. They are very soft and comfortable to wear all day. I also like that they promote a good cause. I love the little paw embellishment on them, too. They fit great, feel great and are a nice set of socks!

These socks are soft and cushiony and feel absolutely awesome on my feet. They come in a nice box that is perfect for gifting, too!I got the "Save LGBTQ Lives" variant and the colors look like the product photos so you know what you're getting.I guess these are considered small size in the women's sock world because the product description says it fits women's US 5-9...not sure if that's sock size or shoe size. I wear a women's shoe size 6-7 depending on the brand and whether they're open-toe or closed-toe and these socks are a smidge big on me but I'm used to that.Overall happy with this purchase and would most definitely buy again!

Got these for my daughter who is on her feet most of the day. She said they are super comfy, Don't have a hard seam on them and they are "cushiony" without being restrictive. We also like the message behind them!
