This little test works as intended. What you need to know is that the test will take about 48 hours to complete. It will take longer if the temperature is lower. The range of temperatures that are recommended is 75-105 degrees with 95 the recommended best temperature. A typical warm house will do. If bacteria are present the yellow color will turn greenish blue. We got a clear green-blue in 48 hours with an average temp of 75-80. After another week at about 65 degrees the color was similar, maybe a bit darker. Good product, clear instructions.
