ASUS VT168H 15.6” 1366x768 HDMI VGA 10-Point Touch Eye Care Monitor, 15.6-inch

I purchased two of these monitors to pair with small computers in a retail shop setting. I'm VERY pleased! I don't know all the tech jargon but the displays are very clear, bright, and easy on the eyes. The touch is very responsive - it may take some getting used to as it is quite different than my laptop touch screen but that's not a problem at all. For the price there is not comparison - I'd have really expected to pay over $250, so was willing to take a chance with these and am glad I did.

The monitor is very clear, and the touch aspect of it is very responsive. The product feels of good weight, and the plastic doesn’t feel cheap. Comes with VGA, HDMI, Power cable, and Micro USB to USB for the touchscreen part. Screen doesn’t appear to scratch well, so that’s good. Settings are all typical for monitors. I used this for a monitor stand in my 2017 Ford Explorer, and all works well.

I purchased this to primarily use as a white board and monitor in combination with a desktop instead of my touch screen laptop for Zoom training. It is well built, works well and is probably the best value for a touch screen. I highly recommend using it with a quality stylus if you are used to the finger feel of a quality laptop. The tilt angle is adequate for most purposes but not sufficient if placed on a tilted presentation lectern.

This is a fantastic upgrade for the occasional user. It is supposed to auto adjust the resolution right away, but I had to change it as it was off, thereby throwing the touch off a half inch. 1600:900 worked for me!

Decent images but I returned it as the focus of the touch was off by about a half inch, meaning instead of putting my finger exactly dead center of whatever button I wanted to push, I had to aim about a half inch to the left of the button image to activate it. I checked to see if there were any instructions about sharpening the focus but couldn't find any on-line or in the scant included owner's manual. Maybe mine is defective compared to others. If the aim were spot-on, I would rate this as a 5 as the look and build quality are very high. FYI - I got this as a 3rd monitor for my home music recording studio and discovered you have to clone one of the other screens in order to activate the touch feature. If you have it configured as an extended screen (in Win 10), the touch function does not work at all.

Just got it in, using for only 2 hours, but easy to do. Purchased as a replacement for another POS touch screen. Has VGA, simple, has USB, simple and a power cord simple. S-I-M-P-L-E. I am not a Tech person, but I did it, and it works! Great bright screen, not dull and used looking...really nice. Very happy. Employees are super happy, so much better than the other one.

Just received Vt168H monitor and there is no manual. So I have to call in. I was unable to get touchscreen to work and adjust the screen brightness. So far I've been on the phone for over 3 hours and tech support still can't fix the problem. I have to wait for another call back and waste more time. I spoke with Harry/Supr, Kemark, and now Akime/Escalation supervisor thus far. This is unacceptable!!!!!! Defective monitor right out of the box and the worse customer service. I do not recommend buying ASUS and do not recommend buying this monitor. Too much headache and the worse customer service. Akime/Escalation Supervisor was troubleshooting the problems by reading from the manual. I could have read the manual as well.....if I had one. Asus do not have trained and professional support. DO NOT BUY.

The monitor is very light and the screen has a "cheap" feel to it - like it's poorly made. This worried me when I first opened it up. However, once connected, I was impressed. The picture is clear and bright with good black levels. Touch screen is responsive even with a light touch. Have not used the speakers, so I can't comment. Overall, I am happy with it.

Excelente producto, buena calidad precio

This is a long term review as I bought this in November 2018. I was putting together a 3d printer all done up with dedicated touch screen but some of the typical 3d printer ' screen choices ' on the market just didn't cut it. I wanted something large enough where I don't need to use a little stylus or need to wince so I decided up on this 15.6" behemoth. To be honest I haven't used the full 10 point touch capability but the ability to run 3d printer software easily without a mouse or stylus not on a 3" screen has been awesome. So after hooking everything up, this monitor works like a charm. Looks pretty sweet as well ! I very much enjoy the pinch feature as well as the swipe feature, just like a typical smartphone now a days. As typical with any monitor it has set defaults for viewing, theater, game, night etc etc. I ended up taking off the VESA stand base on the monitor itself as it was not needed, doing this made the monitor sit a bit more flat against the cabinet. Typical connections, HDMI (which I was using) and also VGA. It also has an earphone jack. TIP ► For the touch screen to work properly you need to connect to your device more than just video input ! TIP ► You MUST hook up the micro-usb connector from the back of the ASUS touchscreen to your computer/device. On a few 3d printer forums I seen many times people having issues with their touchscreens (this touchscreen or another) not working, this is the major cause of that issue. Para el punto de venta (punto zero) excelente

I am using this in a IOT automation situation (not in a POS situation). Works perfectly well and looks pretty good for the price.

Compre este monitor para un punto de venta ya que es touch. para este uso su tamaña es bueno y discreto (ya saben para los amantes de lo ajeno) la función de Touch es necesario conectar un puerto usb y aparte el hdmi, tiene entrada para montura vesa que la verdad es muy funcional. yo le instale otra montura para fijarla al mostrador. la calidad de la imagen es donde esta su debilidad ya que no tiene mucha definición y las letras pequeñas si se pixelena bastante y no hay mucho brillo. este monitor para fotografía, videos y juegos la verdad no se los recomiendo pero para punto de venta me encanta. recomendable
