The Best of Many
You'd assume an encyclopedia about anything to be a rather dry affair. This is an encyclopedia of The Cure , so that's unlikely to be true. In reality, it's everything you'd ever hope to know about the band (at least up to 2023), told with a wonderfully fitting sense of humor by author Price. I quite enjoyed it, and even if you're not a Cure fan (why?), as long as you enjoy entertaining writing about music, you'll not regret the purchase.

A “CUREious” typo
I’ve just begun reading what appears to be a very interesting and thorough “encyclopedia” of The CURE. However, I was taken aback when I got to the AWARDS section on page 21 and noted that the author failed to mention Perry Bamonte as one of the bands inductees to the 2019 Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Perry Bamonte was indeed present at the induction and on stage along with the other band members and Robert Smith when he gave his acceptance speech. I’m sure this is an innocent typo, but it is even more glaring now given the recent passing of Perry Bamonte.

GOOD BOOK! Good investigations, interviews, paper & magazines research to have the best meaning for each song. Like Cure... well, don't be late to have one copy of it. RECOMMENDED!!!!!

A MUST
If you are a true Cure fan, and I know you ARE, then this is a must have for your Cure collection. Easy to read format and WOW, a TON of history from the very inception of the band. Simply amazing

Bought this for my son for Christmas. He is a huge Cure fan. This book Has an eminence amount of facts. If you know someone that loves the Cure this is a perfect gift!
