This stuff is amazing! 🤩 is it sticky and a little messy? Sure but it’s painted gel for hair and washes right out. I did my daughter’s hair (pictured) for her soccer tournament. We ended up n a rain delay and all the girls on the team got their hair painted. And it held up in my daughter’s hair while it rained. It does go from dry to wet again but that’s what you should expect from a temporary hair dye. Also it was around high 80’s and held up against sweat too. I shared pictures AFTER her tournament and the rain. (SPARKLES NOT INCLUDED) Overall, I almost used all the tubs of blue and pink and now have to buy more because it’s such a hit. Also for a slight tint, you can paint it, let it dry and then brush it and it leaves a nice tint that is temporary and not that slicked back feeling. HIGHLY RECCOMEND FOR SPORTS KIDDOS!!

I expected this to be like a hair wax given the name, but it's actually much thinner, more like a hair mask consistency, which I like. It's easier to spread, but it dries very quickly and once it does it feels like a stiff wax is in your hair. If you let it dry and still need to apply more color it is a little difficult, but again, it's like working with a hair wax, so bear that in mind. The color shows up surprisingly well, though it's not really anything like the ad picture, it's more streaky. Spray on color is more uniform, but this stuff is bolder, and I'm sure if you added enough it could be close. Once it's dry it does not transfer, which is awesome for kids. It actually kept my son's style better than his usual hair wax. I'll definitely try this next time the kids want color, though only if they plan to style it. It doesn't work as well for hair that's down in a natural look.

I used this hair color paste on my 9-year-old daughter and we had a fun time with it! The paste was very easy to apply, and the instructions were simple—until the end. There were no clear directions on what to do after applying the product. We discovered that using a hair dryer helped set the color, and once it was dry, brushing it out from a small section was fairly easy. The colors were vibrant and looked great. My daughter loved it so much that we applied more throughout her hair—but we quickly realized that brushing out larger sections was very difficult once dry. One big plus: it washed out very easily with shampoo and water, leaving no residue behind. I’d definitely recommend this for light or accent use—just a few strands at a time—for fun, colorful styles without the mess of permanent dye.
