They stand behind the product
I purchased this but and it broke while using. When I reviewed it they contacted me and asked if I would rather have my money back or another bit. I liked the way it cut so I chose another bit, received it within just a few days. Any product can malfunction or break. Excellent company.

Great quality for a non name brand
I bought this for using on a trim router mounted in a router table. It works great and is sharp. A lot better than a straight cutting bit. Great quality for the price, I would definitely recommend it.

Gets the job done on acrylic (Plexiglass)
Good value. Bearings roll smooth, straight and even Cut clean and smooth on 3/4 inch acrylic. Care needs to be given cutting acrylic with this bit, and other similar items. This bit has a decent amount of "grab" and will force your router or media being cut (whichever is not fixed or secured) in the opposite direction of the blade's spinning direction. As the blade dulls over time, this gets more pronounced. I recommend taking a little bit of media off at a time, don't try to cut a 1/8 inch deep section off at once - do it in 3 or 4 lighter passes. For acrylic, this means first rough cutting with a jig saw for instance, then make final fine cuts with this routing bit. Ultimately, this item did the job and the final product is quite good. Price is great, especially considering the build quality. Perfect for the casual DIY user, just temper expectations for blade sharpness. If you are a pro and need one bit for long life, this may not be for you. For the rest of us, this is a solid option.

I'll never go back to straight flush cut bits.
If you've never tried them, seriously, get one now. I've always used flush cut bits. Decades, still used flush cut bits. Until I decided to try one of these. I'll never go back to regular flush cut bits. These are amazing. I've run dozens of passes using these bits, and they still throw perfectly blade shaped chips like slicing a potato. The correct up/down bit will hold your work against the surface if you're using an overarm router or fixed base router. In a word, the right bit, and they're perfect. Only suggestion I can give for outstanding performance is to trim whatever you're working on as close to the final shape as you can. They will cut with full contact like going through a board to cut out a pattern. But, trimmed close they glide through like butter and won't pull away from what you're working with. I bought several of each, and I'll never go back to straight flush cut bits.

complete garbage
do not buy these. the top comes off and the bearings fall off. i bought the 2 pack and the first one lasted about 3 minutes. the top comes off where theres supposed to be a set screw to hold them in place. but theres no screw. theres no way to tighten them. the second one i used lasted about 5 seconds before that one came apart and went flying off. i was using them in my handheld router and the one hit me in the shoulder before flying in some random direction. completely messed up my project. do not buy these, not only do they not last, but you will definitely screw up whatever you are working on. unfortunately my return window closed so im out the money i spent on them, but theres a reason they are cheap. guaranteed to fall apart and mess up you work so you are not only out the cost of bits, but the cost of material and time spent on whatever you are working on. total waste of money and time. be forwarned, these are the worst of any bit you can buy or use.

Works good
I use a fair amount of tracer router bits. I have a half dozen 1/2" bits, one 3/8" bit, but never had a 1/4' size. I had a project where I had slots just under 3/8" wide, and had a pattern to make the cuts perfectly straight, soI ordered this bit. I was a little concerned with a couple negative reviews. My project used 3/8" thick oak. The rough cut was approximately 1/16" from the final shape. This bit worked very nice. Typically, if you are cutting wood with tracer bits, you want the clean-up to be less than half of the cutting diameter, thus the advantage of using a larger bit when possible. If you are cutting Formica, you can actually cut full width of the bit.

Not worth the price
Sharpness is good but quality is terrible, the bearing flew off on the first window I was opening up.

Not disappointed with this bit
I am new to router table work and this bit was recommended, Iโve been using it successfully with acrylic templates to make shaped boards. So far it has cut well on mdf and hardwoods and my results have improved with practice.
