Just right for little hands. They are real though so if they are new to it I would suggest getting a cut proof glove for them till they are better at cutting. We love the whole set.

My grandson said he wanted some cooking utensils for his ninth birthday, so I got him some baking stuff and these knives. He loves cutting with them and uses the finger guard so even though the knives sharp he doesn’t cut himself. I think these are great first knives for a child.

Great starter set for kids. Our 4 year old feels like such a big kid when helping cut his fruit. They are sharp so we only let him use them with supervision but the rounded tips make it much safer than a regular knife. So cute to watch him learn with these!

Overall a very nice set that I bought as a Christmas present for my daughter who loves to help in the kitchen. The peeler in this set though arrived broken as you can see from the pic I shared. Very disappointed. We already used the knife and glove and I would have to return the whole set to get a new one. Please note, the knife is very sharp and easily slices through even potatoes. It’s nice though that it doesn’t have a sharp tip on it to help prevent accidental cuts.

Knives were great, hard to chop bigger things but things like cucumbers or ever carrots were great.Was super disappointed as this didn't come with any gloves. We tried using this without them, but my child cut their finger and now won't try again.

We loved this set! Easy for my 5yo to hold and use. We paired it with cut safe gloves and he loves to help in the kitchen!
