Dermaflage Scar Filler Kit for Acne Scars & Wrinkles - Golden Fiar

I’m genuinely disappointed with Dermaflage. This product does not work, at least not in any practical or user-friendly way. The instructions are vague and confusing, especially around mixing. It never clearly explains how much to use, what the consistency should look like, or how to get it right. You’re basically guessing from the start, which already sets you up for failure. The video tutorials are confusing. Then there’s the application itself. When I tried to apply it, the applicator actually broke and slipped out and made a mess on my bathroom which made an already frustrating process worse. Even when it stayed together, the product didn’t apply smoothly or do what it claims. There are way too many steps for something that should be simple. Most people just want a one-step or two-step solution—apply it, cover it, maybe set it, and move on. This product is the opposite of that. It’s complicated, messy, and ineffective. Bottom line: this feels like a waste of money. Too many steps, poor instructions, flimsy applicator, and disappointing results. I’m not satisfied, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for a straightforward, reliable camouflage solution.

I wish I could give this 100 stars. I have had a literal hole in my chin that looks just like my piercing but offset. I am a nurse and work in a very busy hospital and am face to face with many Drs, other nurses and patients every day. People have actually commented on it asking if my piercer "missed" the mark at first and it's embarrassing. I've been using filler wax and super glue to fill it. I've had to reapply at least 15 times a day at work or anytime I go out. My mom found this product and bought it for me. I was skeptical at first as there are mixed reviews but I decided I would try it. I scanned the code on the package insert and was taken right to instruction video where I followed the easy directions and LOOK! The hole in my chin is gone! I literally cannot see where that hole was. I slept overnight in it and am at work today and it's still holding strong. I highly recommend getting the set. Not just the refill tube. You will need the pad that's included in the set to flatten, blend and set the filler. I used two of the tips for the first application so be sure you get the set that has extra. The color I got is the medium color and the match is so perfect. Bottom line is I love this product and have now pitched my old faithful fill wax and superglue in the trash 😊

I simply could not get this to work. I have some skin atrophy on my forehead from a steroid shot that takes a long time to heal, and I have a few indented areas I was hoping I could cover. I tried every suggestion I read in reviews, watched videos, etc., and also ordered the primer. So much of the solution gets wasted, the tube dries over and sometimes only one side will express out. Always use a toothpick or the like on both sides before use, as it dries up quickly, even with the cover replaced immediately. Really wish it had worked, but I guess I am still on the hunt. This is now just taking up space in my bathroom because I passed the time to return and maybe if I keep practicing, it might someday work as intended.

I have a small indent on my face where an infected pimple had been and I got this to try to fill it. It does fill it in, but I can’t wear makeup with it. This product is beige colored but it doesn’t match my skin tone. And when it dries the edges come loose and it looks like peeling skin. No.., it looks like peeling latex on my face. And if I put makeup on it, it just looks splotchy on top of the scar filler. I’ve tried using it 4 or 5 times and tried to keep it inside the indent so the edges wouldn’t look like they’re peeling away but it doesn’t work. When you use the purple pad to smooth it, it spreads it out and you end up with the thin edges that don’t stick. I don’t recommend this product

I was hesitant on purchasing this product because of all the mixed reviews. I added photos, the first picture is my scar the second picture is my first attempt at using this product (so far my best attempt) I squirted the product into a small cup and used the tooth pick to fill the scar (don’t over fill) then used the pad. Third picture I squirted the product directly into my scar and used the flat stick to smooth. The only thing I dislike about the product is that your only given 10 applicators for the price. A lot of people can go through almost all of the product before getting it right.

I want to leave a very good review for this product, first because it works, and second because the product maker really worked with me to make sure I achieve the best results. When I first tried it, without the primer, this was a complete disaster. I could not get it to stay on the skin. It came rolling off on the texture pad. Super frustrating. With the primer, totally different story. This thing will stick to the skin like my own skin. It is even hard to peel it off. I now put it on in the evening, when I have plenty of time to mess with it, and it sticks through the next day no problem. I use it for my frown lines, and my forehead looks as smooth and realistic as a baby's. It really is uncanny how well it works. It's still a bit of a juggling act sometimes, to make sure I smooth it well before I apply the texture pad, so there are no bumps, but I'm a quick study. And the results are worth it. It is a bit expensive, I think, and I wish there was a way to get only a tiny bit of product out at a time. There is a lot of wasted product being squeezed out, because a very tiny bit goes a really long way. All in all, thank you Dermaflage team for working with me to make sure this product meets my expectations. I'm very pleased.

I have been playing with this for the last couple of days. I am hopeful I can figure something out with it. It’s not a miracle but it is better than nothing. A few things I have figured out. Put your makeup on all over your face first, then go back in with a q tip to clean the scar area. Trying to do your makeup around it is as others have said when they touch it doesn’t look right. I am ordering additional colors to see if I can find the best one that will blend with my makeup without me having to put makeup over the top of it. I find that leaving the purple thing on for two minutes causes the product to stick to the purple thing. I press it in for maybe twenty seconds then try to go around the edges with the purple thing. I am definitely getting better with application. Hopefully with additional practice I will figure this out.

I got this to fill in a piercing scar and I have to say this did not do the job well. The color match was okay, but because I don't wear any foundation, it was super obvious that I had tinted silicon on my face. Also, the applicator is garbage. The single use tips work okay, and if there were enough of them to use with the entire tube that'd be great, but there's only 10. After that you have to take off the cap and end up squeezing out waaay too much product, wasting a ton since it all dries and can't be reused. I was hoping I'd get lucky and this would work for me, but it was a total waste of money and a complete waste of time trying to get it to work. It always looked like bad special effects makeup and that wasn't what I was going for.

I purchased this product to fill in the "elevens" (the two vertical lines between my eyebrows and for my smile lines. I wasn't sure what colour to select, but given that I have light skin with yellow tones, I chose fair. Fortunately, it was a good match. Dermaflage does what it says it does, but it requires a bit of practice to apply it properly. After several tries, I felt much more confident. A small amount goes a long way. The only real negative and surprise about this cover up product, is that you can't apply it and then cover it with make-up. (foundation) It would look better if you could bring your make-up over it for a seamless blending. (Are you listening, Dermaflage?)
