Don't use this as a converter!
I took this converter with me to the Philippines. I tested the voltage rating with a meter. But the converter was only outputting between 30 to 40 volts instead of 110V. Don't use this as a converter you are risking ruining your appliance. It ruined two of my appliances already. Highly disappointed. Unfortunately, I'm already in the Philippines and I can't return it for refund.

110V is only 58V
I use this product for a 200W ice maker, but it doesn’t work. I use multimeter to test the 110V plug only 58V.This delivery is send to Miami address and forward to my sailing boat in Colon Panama, it is very hard and costly to send it back to USA. It is totally no use for me.

Dead on arrival; doesn't work
I bought this converter to travel to Europe from the U.S and it has never worked. It's difficult to slide the adapter portion onto where it needs to be touching the safety line too. Thank god I bought a separate adapter but now I don't have a converter. Don't waste your money.

Beware!
Used this during a recent trip to Scotland. Did not work properly, and broke a hair straightener and a steamer.
