Pair of ZJ or WJ Hood Aluminum Louvered Cooling Panels (Bolt-on) Kit

Really helped cool down my overheating problem and gave it a great look. Got it cut out and installed by myself in about 2.5hrs.

Installed these louver panels on a 2001 LS swapped Discovery 2. With fans blowing under the hood, plenty of hot air comes out the louvers. I like it. I placed the panels closer to the front of the hood to avoid the windshield pressure wave. My GM PCM is better protected from water too as its bolted to the firewall and farther back in the engine bay. These louvers will get paint later.Requires some extensive cutting of the hood. I had to buy some longer button bolts.

97 zj 5.2. Had some issues with the temp getting a little high due to having electric fan only. These vents helped a lot to reduce temp. BE ADVISED cutting the hood will cut the cross braces. I cut my cross braces and my hood is still very sturdy.

Good product. When drilling the holes drill them slightly smaller than the bolts, you will not have the access to some of the bolts under the hood to screw the nut on them. Just drive them into the hood and don’t over tighten them.

Easy to install. Good quality. Looks nice and allows heat to escape nicely. Only gave 4 stars as they showed up bent and warped. Took an hour to straighten out but otherwise I like the look and the function.

Love them just not the price
