This isn't a cheap gate, however it is well worth the price. I used it on the doorway from my house to my garage. I like to open my garage during nice weather for great airflow, however , I have 5 little chihuahuas who would be gone in an instant. This gate is easy to install, adjustable and the gate functions works perfectly. It closes automatically unless you open it to its widest point, which lets it remain open. I ordered the brown color as it matches both my garage colors and my flooring colors. It came with one more extension, 4 other rubber attachments for stairs i believe, and a threshold. I didn't need any of these at this point but will keep them in case I choose to move it. Very happy with the look and design of this sturdy, well built and well designed item. Highly recommend!

These are great for keeping a large puppy with boundless energy somewhat contained in my house. This gate separated off a tiled floor room for the puppy. She was in a stage where she ate electrical cords, stole food off tables and counters, and licked everyone to death with sloppy kisses--cats included. It was a lifesaver. This is not recommended by me for every space in your home for one big reason: It has a bar that runs across the floor. When you open the gate, the bar stays stationary across the floor. You virtually have to step over it to walk through gate.It may be a real trip hazard for the frail elderly or children learning to walk unless accompanied by a watchful person. If an older frail person isn't concentrating and just shuffles along, they can hit that lower bar and fall.Once you train yourself to be sure to lift your feet when going through--no problem. We have two of these gates in our house right now. They are pressure gates so you can virtually take them down at a moments notice. It's surprising how well they do stay in place once they are screwed in place ( they hold because of tension, not permanent screws.) They are sturdy metal gates that are nicely built. You do have the option to screw this gate into wall BTW.I would NEVER put this gate at the top of the stairs. Not with that bar across the floor. If a stairway needs a gate, the gate should be screwed into wall and not have a bar to step over. There are other gates that are better suited for stairs.But on a level floor these are great gates, once you get used to them.This gate can be taken down once puppy is housebroken and stored away for another time when you may need it.Like when a relative comes to visit and --surprise!!! ...brings their dog.

I have 4 dogs that sometimes need to be separate or we need to keep them out of the kitchen for a while. Although 2 of them are small, I have a medium size and medium to large size that sometimes jump on the gate. It has held up to dogs running into it, jumping on it, and pawing at it. Not to mention it's a TON easier to use the gate rather than step over something like other baby gates I've tried.The gate is easy to use even with a handful of items yet still keeps the dogs out. I'm really glad I found a gate that fits in our archway. This was the biggest obstacle with baby gates. We couldn't find anything big enough to fit in the archway since it's not a doorway. This had extenders to go even larger if needed, but the first set of extenders were enough for where we needed it.Putting the gate together was straightforward and simple enough. The directions were clear and I was able to set it up one morning before work. I'm really happy with how well this gate has worked and it has become almost a permanent fixture in our home haha

Excellent quality pet gate , automatic close when swings open , everything lines up when installed , easy installation, Cumbor is a solid name brand I would recommend

Bought this for the top of my MIL's stairs. I liked than if we wanted to, we could wall mount or pressure mount. We tried using it one way as to not trip over the threshold bar but when that didnt work, we had to go over the top of stairs. I was hesitant due to wanted as much stability as possible even going as far as buying wall nanny's in case we failed at bolting it into the wall. However as we were opening up the box, we saw that it comes with it's own version of wall nanny's. What really amazed me was that there were pressure mounts specifically for the banister so it makes its secure. Took us a bit to rearrange the extensions, but once it was on, it wasnt going anywhere! Some minor adjustments to make sure the door closes on it's own but we LOVED the results. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. fool proof installations, pressure mounting is very secure if you're second guessing it.
