Purchased during Prime Day without a seat for over half off! Bolting on a seat wasn't difficult, but required some DIY wood and screws. Package was fine, but the steel frame came in less than perfect condition with a few random scratches possibly due to handling at the factory. For this specific model, all the short bolts are the same size, so don't pay attention the item list and try to sort the 6MM from the 8MM. The instruction manual should help you finish the assembly (w/o seat) in 45 mins or less. Overall, I'm satisfied with the finished product. It's sturdy, adjustable wheel height, foot pedal placement, and the Logi G923 wheel fit right on without issue. A change I'd like to see would be better cable management built-on to frame. Added my own monitor arm stand by drilling 3/8" hole through frame, painted 2x4 wood platform, and 3/8" x 4" lag screw for support. Proud of myself

I purchased what I guess the call the Cockpit 14 version. Unlike some earlier reviews posted on a similar item, this one has supports at both corners where the support turns up to the wheel. This makes it very stiff and keeps the wheel solid. The pedal plate is a bit flimsy for the very stiff brake pedal I have. I added a couple supports at the end to the floor out of a round piece of wood, more than enough to support it now. It did have a few minor scratches but nothing very bad, and overall, the build quality was very good. I had no issues with the included hardware.

So to start: a racing wheel and racing frame is the best way to experience driving games. Likewise with a flight stick on one of these frames. I love this setup. That's not to say it's perfect: there are three things I would change. I bought this racing sim frame for me and the kiddo. We put it together on Saturday and were driving by Saturday afternoon. The frame definitely works well with the Logitech G920 wheel and pedals. With a 900-degree force feedback wheel, an H-Shifter, and a good monitor and sound system, this feels a lot like being on the open road. The biggest problem is that the nuts that came with the rig are not well made. About half the nuts were loose on the bolts and could not be tightened down. So I had to run to the hardware store and get more nuts - but the problem there is that the local home improvement stores do not have metric sizes, so I had to get bolts AND nuts. So either pick up a bag of 40 M8 hex nuts, or pick up a set of matching nuts and bolts of either M8 or 5/16" diameter. While you're at it, get a good socket set and metric hex wrench set, too, since the tools that come with this thing are useless. One of the hex wrenches was actually stripped at one end. Other minor problems are: the holes where the foot plate mounts to the tubing don't have any reinforcement, so you basically crush the tubing as you tighten the bolts holding the foot plate in place. This is not good. This should have been made with a welded bracket, similar to the one that holds the shifter arm. Also, the riser for the seat looks flimsy. I plan on buying another riser to allow me to get the seat a bit higher up. I want the seat to be at least 6 inches higher, which may mean fabricating my own (probably out of two 4x4s for stability.) Having said all of that: this is a good, sturdy frame, and with appropriate enhancements, I'm sure it will last a long time. Just plan ahead with extra M8 nuts (or 5/16" nuts AND bolts) and a good set of tools for assembly.... also, maybe some 4x4 lumber to reinforce the seat riser.

This by far the best rig you can buy for the money. Mine came with the new design. They have weld in side bars for reinforcement. I have 4 rigs and this is the best for the money. I’m going to add non marking wheels on the bottom.

I added my own 86 Toyota MR2 Seat, started with a Logitech G25 and I Liked it so much, I upgraded to a Moza DD system. You will need extra hardware, but since I'm an Automation Engineer, I had a truck full. It works great, zero flex even with an R12. I only use it in VR, so a monitor wasn't a problem.

Bolts strip extremely easily so be careful not to over tighten them, also the chasing has some flex where the wheel sits causing it to bounce around while using it. But for the price I can't complain, you get what you pay for.

ordered on 18th got it on 19th. packing was great. no dents or paint chips. very simple assembly and way stronger than I expected at this price. Mounted Fanatec dd 8 nm wheel. it has zero sideways flex and just a tad bit up and down if i pull down on it hard enough. with the gear shifter extension resting on top of my pc which is sitting on the floor next to the wall, I can stand on top of this and it wont budge a millimeter. very impressed, gonna order another.

comes with everything you need. its got a decent amount of leniency in its configurability. assembly is straight forward if you have a lil mechanical ability. i dont have a single actual complaint.

Me gusto mucho, creo que más no se puede pedir por el precio, esta muy resistente y podrá tener algunos rayones pero en general esta muy bien, le adapté un asiento de vehículo y es un excelente cockpit mejor que muchos que cuestan más del doble.

Let's get the bad outta the way first my gripe is it all scratched like all over and there is a tiny bit of flex to it now that being said there were a number of things that are awesome #1 easy to put together took about 30 mins I used power tools tho #2 there's a lot of adjustments to get it to fit you just right I'm 6.4 #3 my seat bolted up easily and the hardware that was sent was even the right size and length also included which I was very surprised by was the correct mounting hardware for my wheel and pedals I was so happy to see this so overall would be 5 stars if it wasn't all scratched would definitely recommend the rig seems strong comfortable and not terrible to look at

Pour le prix , excellent produit assez rigide pour mon moza r5. Le cockpit est arrivé 11 jour avant la date . Quelque égratignures assez profondément sur les tubes mais pas trop visible vu les endroits où elles se trouvent.
