Is it a good weapon? Not unless you train. Is it a good toy? Yes
I bought this mostly so I could play with knives without seriously injuring myself, and this fits the bill perfectly. I'm sure it's a great CQC tool if you know how to use a karambit and your opponent has also, for some reason, broken into your place of living with only a knife, but, let's be real, this is a 100% fantasy scenario and the real purpose of this is to play/train with knives without cutting yourself. And, for that purpose, it excels. It is comfortable and fun to play with and it is pointy enough to break skin (so exercise caution.)If you're buying this under the guise of being for "home defense" you are probably delusional but you still will probably enjoy owning it. It's a fun little toy & great to fiddle with.

Light, Affordable, Durable.
First and foremost this is not a 'Real' Karambit, it's not metal and it doesn't take an edge, it is Grivory, which is stronger than Zytel but it is still a Plastic/Nylon based blade, this isn't a cutting tool, it's not a very good letter opener and it isn't very good at the regular slashing strikes that people expect from a Karambit.that being said this is an excellent Punch dagger materiel, it is light and durable so long as you use it for what it is made for, as a test i punched the blade through a deer and boars rib cage area with very little trouble.in all if you have never used a karambit and you think it's 'cool' than great, if you want something that will make a sudden decisive strike to an enemy reaching up and under the ribcage or around an armored point, this still works.if you want to slash at cardboard... find something else, this ain't for you.

NOT A REAL KNIFE!!! (Good quality tho)
My experience:Honestly, I bought this because I thought it was a real knife, but after I purchased it and realized it was a practice karambit, I was a lil let down... but its still a pretty good quality practice karambit for the price offered.I didn’t own a practice karambit before this purchase so it didn’t bother me hen I realized it was a practice weapon... its mildly well balanced, it’s well made by cold steel, and holds its edge very wellPros:- would be great for airsoft, so long as your cautious about it still having a plastic edge and sharp pointed tip- comfortable handle- maneuvers very well around pointer finger when rotatedCons:- does not have a sheathe- not invincible, will most likely break eventually if not taken care of and/or put up correctly- it’s possible to hurt self with sharp/pointed tip if you’re not careful

Brilliant trainer/control karambit
This is a brilliant karambit trainer/control device. I carry it with me around the house to practice my techniques.Pros:- The weight is perfect.- The grip is comfortable and ergonomic.- The composite material is surprisingly resilient.- You cannot beat the price.Cons:- The tip and blade edge need to be sanded down/rounded, else you will find yourself with a good amount of punctures in your arm.- The safety ring has a notched section for your thumb, but it needs to be sanded/rounded because it eventually gnaws your middle finger raw.

Undecided
I've just received this knife and after removing it from the package I wore the point of the tip off by simply trying to cut the plastic packing from around the receipt. I was highly disappointed in so easily permanently damaging the tip with such a menial task. And due to the material it doesn't seem like it is likely able to be sharpened. On the other hand, it seems like it would be good for self defense or possibly gardening/yard type tasks - suitable for hard plastic. So - undecided. At least it was cheap.

Plastic Knife
I'm dumb for not reading the entire description. I thought this was a real knife with a plastic sheath. It's a plastic knife with no sheath. It will not cut you. It's too light for practice, but it's great for my cosplaying child. Should've known the price was too good to be true for a real knife, even on Black Friday!
