Like it says, I'm a pure amateur guitar builder, so price is important to me, as is function. These 16" truss rods seem to work well. I just finished a neck that required a small amount of adjustment for bend, and this version worked just fine. I'll likely buy more as I get to future builds. The truss channel used a 1/4" router bit for a perfect fit for all but the adjustment end. Also comes with allen wrenches if you need them.

This is not a low profile truss rod. The description states this is an 8.5mm x 6.5mm (also probably wrong, truss rods are typically 6mm) tall truss rod, it’s not. My guess is width and height are mixed. Either way, Actual dim is 11mm. I received it and am immediately returning this seeking a replacement. I will update again regardless of outcome. 🤞🏼 I hope this was a one time issue. Edit May 3,2022: received new rod, is exactly the same as the first and exactly the same dimensions as every other standard rod in my shop. Am returning for a refund.
