Carlson Kid's The Very Finest Fish Oil, Lemon, Norwegian, 800 mg Omega-3s, 200 mL

I ordered this because I read that too much animal vitamin A is not good for us. This is the cod liver oil that was recommended to me for the lowest vitamin A. Note that vitamin A from plants is not a problem for us in high dosages. It's just when it's from animals that it may cause osteoporosis and other problems. I'm glad to have come across this info and wanted to pass it along. I just ordered the product today and can't comment on anything else about it. Update: Decided to order Carlson's salmon oil since it has more Omega 3 s than their cod liver oil. I'm taking the cod liver oil while waiting for the salmon oil to arrive. Easy to swallow, no bad taste on the capsules and no fish burps yet. I'm also giving this to our dogs as I've read it's good for their fur, skin, arthritis, etc.

Really liking this high quality fish oil for our 5 year old. It has a very mild lemony taste. Personally, I would mix it in something but she likes it on its own. She even gets excited about having it at breakfast and at dinner and will remind me if I forget. Also have noticed a difference in behavior in addition to a magnesium supplement. Very happy with our purchase and will buy again.

Orange flavor is the best. We use fish oil twice a day with my son to help aid in his ADHD. After a months use (how long our naturopath told me to wait and journal to really see if it makes a difference) it 100% has! I was skeptical. Also my youngest son has little bumps on the back of his arms always has, they’re going away because of this fish oil! Did so much research and was floored to find EPA Deficiency can cause that!

Both boys take it with no issues straight off the spoon. Its smells and tastes just like lemon which is their favorite flavor. Just make sure not to spill anywhere because it will start to smell like stinky fish. My oldest has ADHD, and this does seem to help him somewhat but nothing miraculous. All kids need omega 3's regardless.

We are giving this cod liver oil to our son since he was 1 year old, I know its weird, but he just love it, he seen me when I taking them, and just was willing to try, and after that he just fall in love with them, he chewing them like a gum :) If he have a choice to take a candy or this soft gel cod liver oil, he definitely choose the oil. Now, he is 3 years old, and we giving him up to 3 soft gels a day, and what I want to say, this little guy never getting sick, no cold or flu even on the high peak season, and just overall super healthy child. And we are going a lot to the public places and I can see a lot of sick kids around him, but he never catching any bacteria or viruses from the environment. And me and my husband also taking them, and we are also almost never have cold or flu, and I was taking them when I was pregnant, so maybe that gives the strong immune system to my child.

The kids will take a half teaspoon strait with a water chaser. Slight lemon after-taste, but no lingering fishy taste. The kids seem to think it’s some kind of fun game, and that is fine with me!

Well, I looked everywhere and couldn't find out how large the capsules are, so I ordered them after another site called them "easy to swallow" hoping they would be smaller than the typical fish oil gel capsule. Unfortunately they're just as huge, and my kid can't swallow them. It says they can be chewed, but he didn't like swallowing the oil version so he balked at that as well. I'll be using them up myself as a supplement to the Carlson Elite soft gels I take. Anyone know of a fish oil smaller capsule for kids other than the Nordic Naturals brand (which doesn't have as much EPA as we want)?

Very good. Not a really bad taste.
