Easily one of the best board games I've played
This was supposed to be a Christmas present, but I whipped it out early one night when we couldn't figure out another game to play. It's collaborative, so you're less likely to engage in fisticuffs at dawn with your loved ones, like you 100% will do with monopoly. But there are also different ways to play the game, meaning versatility and also varying levels of messing with your favorite humans. The game is highly detailed, very well written by the makers. The board and pieces are beautiful. Fair warning, it took about two days and several YouTube videos to actually get it set up and figure out what we were doing, but it was 100% worth it. It's a 3-5 player game but my SO and I managed it with each of us playing two characters. This is some of the best money I've ever spent, ESPECIALLY for two lotr nerds. Plus, there's just something fun about going after the nasty Hobbitses 😄

LoTR Fans must have
Purchased this as a gift. Seems a bit in depth, not a quick game but one we are eager to play.

Great quality
I picked this up strictly for the mini's, I haven't played it or reviewed the rule. I can only comment on the quality of the game and it's top notch

Great Miniatures!
Love the miniatures. The game is well it could be good I liked that you get to play as the bad guys and try to gain favor and build up your power and minions to stop frodo on his crusades; however the instructions not good at all, I had to watch a youtube video on how to play and thats sad. I'm a lets open the box and learn as we go board gamer so this did not sit well with me don't get me wrong Its interesting and different and I like that but, I was thoroughly confused, if you buy the game do yourself a favor and learn the basics before all your friends come over to play,

Horrible Instructions included
The included instructions are horrible, but the updated ones from the companies website are much more clear.I like the mechanic where every player palys Sauron for one round.
