I absolutely would recommend this kit, and it's a good price for what you get. I highly suggest you buy better ink for use on real skin (use the included ink on fake skin only). Also get isopropyl alcohol to clean the area beforehand, and saniderm bandage for healing. This kit would make a great inexpensive gift!

Perfect for little stick and pokes!

As a beginner, I had my doubts when I bought this. But the kit pretty much had everything one needs as a newbie stick and poke artist. The ink is decent the needles are nice too. The only problem was the transfer papers. It does not work AT ALL. Considering everything else go for it!

These days, it's even more difficult to find products in purple as majority are pink or blue, green, yellow and brown with added typical black and white.Yet, purple is top of lists before pink go figure. With that said, hence since purchase even though there were better bundles and other options.I bought the pen machine beginning bundle at the same time thinking I'd be covered in ink and not run out but sadly, found that the ink provided is ONLY for practice upon the fake skin and NOT FOR human skin at all and if you do, it will fade quickly as not meant for long term!This should be provided before the description and I'm bigger and bolder letters. Also, it's misleading to include the after ointment to apply when the ink is not supposed to be used on human skin.I only became aware as I was looking at tutorials and trying to DIY fix a malfunction error.More practice skins are more suitable to term the beginners bundle and only Black actual professional permanent ink.Other than that, it's truly what is needed to start and the rest you'll go from there.
