Fox Run Porcelain Bacon Grease Container with Strainer, White, 5" x 5.5"

This is my second purchase of this grease jar (different color). I was looking for a very specific grease holder and this one fit the bill. I wanted something largely basic, just a simple jar with not a lot of fluff or attention to it. I wanted a ceramic insert instead of a metal one; just my preference. I wanted it to be of a good medium size. I wanted it to say 'grease' and not 'bacon' or something else, because I save more than just bacon grease. This guy fit everything I was looking for. I've been using it for several months now, and I've no complaints with it. Well, just one really, and that's only that I wish they came in more color options. Aside from that, it's thick and sturdy, and hasn't cracked from hot grease. The ceramic insert is easy to wipe/clean. I purchased 2 of these total and I'm still pleased with the find.

I just love this grease catcher. Just what I was looking for. Very durable and it works well. It is pure white no an off color hire or anything.

Really like this little container

Nice looking grease jar. I keep it on the kitchen counter - no bad smells. We use it for bacon grease🥓 I dump the grease out when it's full and run it through the dishwasher after. Cleans up great.

This is a decent product, does what it is designed to do. It strains solid pieces out of bacon grease and stores the grease for future use. It looks nice on your countertop and is well made. But, a gasket that provides a decent seal for the lid would be a huge improvement. Otherwise, it does its job. We cook with bacon grease frequently enough that storing it on the counter is fine, but I would like a tighter seal for the lid.

At first it would seem this is too big, but its not. It is perfect. We have already gone through one fill of the canister and are on our second. It is nice to have some clean fresh bacon grease to cook with. The unit looks great in our kitchen and is a perfect size. Only small downside is the the filter holes are a tiny large so you get some small bacon particles in your grease but not enough to bother me. You could set in a small stainless screen if you are a grease perfectionist. :)

I bought one of these somewhere many, many years ago and have used it regularly. I still would be using it except that it's in storage right now, so I just bought another one from Amazon for this condo. "Easy clean" really IS its finest feature. I have it for used cooking oil, not bacon grease. There is never any sticky residue and a swipe with a paper towel will quickly remove whatever the screen catches plus the collection of fine particles that settle on the bottom. Soapy water is all it needs when you're ready to wash it. My only complaint is that it's hard to hold when you want to pour the grease into another container. The cannister is totally smooth so I'm always a bit anxious that it might slip out of my hands. So far so good on that!

Excellent size and quality, looks much nicer than a tin one. Looks lovely sitting on my bench I would recommend this product.

The strainer works so well and is easy to clean. My house doesn’t smell like bacon grease which is a bonus! Great container that holds a decent amount and looks good on the counter
