Boy, Am I Loving This Already
I have fought digestive issues, both upper and lower, for 15 years. I've been to countless doctors, have done hundreds of hours of research, have spent thousands on supplements and meds, have tried every OTC and doc-only probiotic known to man, have tried every gut-friendly food and diet, etc. You name it, I've done it, but got no relief. But within three days of starting to take this supplement, I am already noticing a difference in my horrible bloating. I am amazed. Minutes ago, I finished a dinner that included a lot of beans, but as I sit here typing, I have zero bloating and distension. What a relief. Whereas before, I would have looked pregnant (literally), I am quite comfortable and non-distended right now. Amazing. To be fair, I yesterday evening started to also take Acid Relief 360 Ultra, which I also got here on Amazon, so it is likely contributing [already] to my relief. But even before I started taking it last evening (one after a meal, twice a day), I was already doing much better in the bloating department. I also have been a longtime user of zinc carnosine, first taking the doc-only one that's more expensive and then taking the Swanson version. I continue to take it, so perhaps it's working in conjunction with the other supplements. YMMV, but I urge you to try these supplements if you've not found relief with H2s, PPIs and other supplements or meds.

It makes great thick yogurt.
I bought this for making yogurt. 8 caps to one quart of 1/2 n 1/2 worked great. I wasn't too impress with the taste. I thought it tasted like parmesan cheese. So I've added ranch dressing seasonings to it and use it as a dip. Now I love it! It'll also work well in any savory dish. It's super thick like sour cream. I didn't use the inulin because I can't find it. I fermented it for 30 hours in my instant pot on low in 2 separate jars in a water bath. I am looking forward to the health benefits to my gut!

Tried many probiotics in my life, this one exceeded my expectations
I first read about the multitude of research on L reuteri on self hacked. Check out that page if you really want to geek out and dig into the actual research studies... This is kind of obscure and I think it could help a lot of people so I am writing a review of my experience. My goals taking this were: -to decrease overall inflammation -improve gut lining health -increase vitamin D and folate adsorption -increase seratonin production via the gut -help control my weight These were just some of the possible benefits of this strain. Others were listed but not relevant to me like lowering cholesterol and many others. For the past 6 months I’ve taken at least 2 per day and sometimes 4 capsules. I have lost 15 pounds, my D and folate are up in my bloodwork and my mood is better in general. I also am not having stomach pain from unknown causes. I do take a variety of supplements and eat a whole food diet without alcohol, but I was doing that already... I know that more and more research is coming out about the importance of our gut microbiome and it’s role in so many aspects of our health and well-being. I would love if this company made additional specific targeted strains of L reuteri or other equally beneficial strains if they exist.

Everyone is different. But this was worth the try. Her levels went down within 6 months.
I bought this for my sister who has high cholesterol but can not take statins. I read an article indicating that this prebiotic could be helpful in such cases. I misread, thinking it would lower cholesterol, but the article indicates the studies show the levels would be stabilized, somewhat. My sister's levels did go down, however.

It works!
I bought these earlier in the year and used up the whole bottle. When I started I had been having a lot of issues with my bowel movements, heartburn, acid reflux and by the time I got to the end of the bottle I was a lot more regular and felt like my body processed food much better than it had before. I made sure to also drink water with artichoke inulin to help feed the bacteria whenever I did take a pill. I felt pretty good for a while so after I ran out I ended up not buying another bottle, but eventually my stomach issues returned, with bloating, gas etc. I'm about to order another bottle and will make sure to keep an extra around for the next time I run out.

WOW
I've taken Reuteri from a different brand and never really noticed any difference. I could tell from the first pill this stuff works. I was starting to fight off a cold that the rest of the family had when this arrived. I took one with dinner. While I did experience very mild gas, I awoke to cleared sinuses and no more tension in my neck. I did not get the cold going around. My energy was better than it had been in days too. I could tell microorganisms were "working it out" in my guts, but no one was fighting.

I really just don't know
I have SIBO which was well under control for a year. Then my doctor recommended bee pollen for my anemia. Have you ever eaten bee pollen? Crunchy and yucky. He recommended eating it in yogurt which worked perfectly. Alas, stupid me, my SIBO came back with a vengeance. SIBO meaning small intestinal BACTERIA OVERGROWTH. All that yummy yogurt caused the "good" lactobacillus to overgrow. The L. reuteri is the only bacteria that works for SIBO, at least it worked in the past. So I have been taking the Microbiome for 2 months and nothing has changed. So I don't know if it's me or it's the Microbiome and it is so very expensive. I plan to change to the less expensive and see if that works.

These capsules contained 3.5 billion CFU at packaging. There are 56 capsules in the bottle. I have no way of measuring the effectiveness of these capsules, but they do have a Use By date more than a year into the future. I am using these to make non-dairy L reuteri yogurt which is a fairly delicate operation. I am using homemade organic sprouted oats for oat milk. I successfully made L acidophilus yogurt with both uncooked and heated oat milk, so I will be trying L reuteri next. I will update this review at that time. This is the best source of L reuteri at the most reasonable price that I could find. After I make L reuteri yogurt, I will be using it as a starter for the next 10 batches and not be using these tablets. If this is successful, I will not be buying any more L reuteri tablets. If you look at the population growth of L reuteri, there is a phenomenal spike around the 36th hour which makes a very concentrated L reuteri population. Some sources say that yogurt can be used as as starter only 10 times. I am storing the bottle in the freezer and will then use more capsules.
