It’s rusting, it shouldn’t rust for the price.

We bought it for our Peloton bike that was purchased in December 2019.This is a well built and sturdy product but EXPENSIVE for what it is.I guess for the cost of a Peloton bike, they figure they can charge this if the bike is useless without it (and it worked on us)I'm 5'11'' so I had no issue but my wife is 5'1'' and she was getting neck pain.This product took care of that issue.The Adjuster now crowds my knees a bit when I stand so you really have to watch your form otherwise my knee rub against it.All that being said, think it's a good product and would definitely recommend if ou're wiling to pay the cost.

It’s perfect for revising the Peloton for short people. The handlebars were just a little too far away and I found myself with frozen shoulder from overreaching.The device is heavy and sturdy and is of the same quality as the bike itself. With the default positioning using the center hole, I thought it stuck out too much over the brake but but there are 2 other holes you can use to adjust it more. At 5’2”, I was able to use the closest hole and closest adjustment setting ‘g’ and it was perfect. If you’re much shorter and need the handlebars closer, the sliding adjustment range might not be enough for you using the closest hole but you could probably get used to the overhang. They probably could’ve designed it so the bottom tray didn’t need to be flush with the sliding mechanism which would get more reach.It seems to be of high quality but doesn’t have the same ceramic coating as the bike so I was worried about rusting. Being right under the handlebars, I could be dripping sweat a lot on it but it could also get it pretty wet when I clean the handlebars themselves with my water spray bottle. I made a little cover for it out of a lightweight, cooling towel to protect it because I didn’t want to test its resistance to rust.It’s a bit expensive but relative to the cost the bike, it’s just incremental. Wish peloton would’ve designed the bike to have something like this.

This adapter has 1000 % fixed my Peloton bike problem. I love my Peloton, but at 5'2, I'm just not comfortable on my bike as the handlebars are so far away. As delivered from Peloton, the ergonomics of the original spin bike really hurts my neck and feels awkward. Unlike actual studio bikes, the original Peloton can't really be adjusted for ladies like me who have a shorter reach. My husband bought this for me and put it on my bike with minimal assistance from me in maybe 15 minutes. It WORKS SOOOOO WELL!! I couldn't wait to hop on. I cruised an entire hour of scenic roadway listening to my favorite riding music without discomfort in my neck and shoulders. Thank you, genius lifesaver sanity restorer inventor!! I believe it's a small family made in the USA company as well, so that's a plus in my book as well. It's sturdy and looks good, too. I've tried everything from different bike seats, to pedals and pool noodle fixes--but this is worth every single penny. BUY IT. (Just make sure it's the correct model for your generation Peloton bike.)

I love this. I’m 5’1” and can finally comfortably use my Peleton . It also doesn’t look like some after market devise. It looks like it is an original part. While it seems like it may be pricey. It is very Sturdy and I have gone from never using my bike to using it daily. This was a good buy. Easy to attach.

Amazing!!! Peloton should be adding this design to their bikes! I’m 5’1” been fighting tendinitis in my forearm for months my PT wanted me to stop using my peloton because my arm hurt so bad every time I ride handle bars are too far finally bought the extender fast shipping!! Well built !! Added it to my bike in 5 minutes super easy !! Husband had to help cause my arm has no strength at all did my first ride on it no pain!!! No pain at all!! Thank you 🙏🏼 to the inventors of this!! Game changer!!!

Worth the price! A game changer, I'm 4'11 and 1/2, this made a world of difference. (Two people required for installation. Tools are provided, however, I do recommend tightening the bolts with additional professional Hex Key from hardware store.)

This well made sturdy hardware is easy to add to your Peleton bike to give the handlebars a more adjustable range. Great if you want to sit more upright for posture. The metal finish makes it look like it was part of the original bike.
