I live in a apartment that has a real bad hard water problem and killed my last humidifier. We are talking pink slime and brown mineral build up on the humidifier. I filter the crap out of my water now but still worried that it would not be enough and kill another humidifier so I hesitated to buy one, let alone one for a hundred dollars. But my wife begged me and this went on sale so I decided to give it another go. This humidifier beats the crappy one I got from Costco easily. Not only is it quiet compared to my old one, it also works on a decently large living spaces. It has a button to switch between cool or warm mists and turns on and off automatically to save on refills. My living room has a bar that opens to the kitchen and dining room so I had to take that into account when buying this based on square footage so I had the feeling this wouldn't cover it. (over 900 ft²) But I wanted to gauge it first to see if I needed two of these or if I could get away with buy this and one smaller one. (It's rated for only 750 ft²) Honestly it does the job, I set it to 55 and it did just fine by itself. But because of the room sizes it doesn't shut off automatically very often. I like it so far and my wife loves it. We ended up getting another smaller one from the same company for the room for 40 bucks and that one is pretty good too but slightly louder with the water gurgles. Now here is the only negative things I will say. I gave it 5 stars because one, my room exceeds the rated size and it still performs well. It does produce white dust everywhere, I even found it in my bathroom. It likes to cling to plastic objects but can easily be dusted away. But this is due to my hard water and not the product itself. If you have hard water problems like I do, you are going to want to purchase a demineralization cartridge pack to help. Secondly I noticed that the mist direction can be adjusted to point in two different directions. This is sadly poorly designed because the humidifier measurement is most accurate when it is pointed toward the front of the machine. I have a few devices that measure humidity levels in the house and the measurements on the humidifier were wrong when I had it pointed to the sides. Also read all the instructions before using it. There is a lot of DON'T DO this in the manual that I would have missed if my wife didn't point them all out to me. I just wanted to set it up and tossed the manual to the side. I would go over them but there are a lot of things that can destroy the unit so if you don't want to be on the phone with the customer support looking like a fool like I did to my wife for not reading the manual first. Please read the manual. Besides all that stuff its a great humidifier and I am probably going to purchase another one. Just want to wait awhile so my wife stops thinking it was her great idea. Even though it totally was. . . She don't need to know that though.

After perusing all the humidifier options on Amazon, I am very glad I went with this one! Living in a desert climate has been tough on my health, with nose bleeds, sore throat, dry eye, and other issues being a common occurrence when I wake up in the morning. After using this humidifier for about a week, I noticed that I was definitely sleeping better and waking up refreshed and not incredibly dry! I know for a fact that it is working because my python, who also has issues with maintaining humidity in his tank, had his hygrometer reading at 70% and had an excellent shed this past month. Initially when I bought this product, I was frustrated because it shipped in a somewhat flimsy package and I noticed a huge crack in the tank when I opened it and had to go through the hassle of returning it. The company was very helpful and responsive to my concerns and made sure I got a slight discount on my next purchase. Thanks for the good customer service. The product works as advertised and has not caused any problems. I placed the humidifier near my bed and it produced a thick, fine mist but did not get any of the nearby walls or furniture wet. No leakage from the tank or base. It has both cool and warm mist options and is easy to set to different levels. I like how the tank holds enough to last at least 12 hours or more, but if it runs out during the night or day while we're at work, it will auto shut off. The light on the display is bright, but it can be easily turned off at night. It also produces a gentle white noise sound which is not disruptive to sleep. The only thing I would change about this is that it would be much easier to fill on the top rather than having to remove the tank, flip it, fill it on the underside, and flip it back again while it's very full. Overall good product that works to humidify a small apartment and has the best features of all the other Amazon products combined.

My criteria for a good humidifier was the following: - Quiet - Cool AND Warm mist setting - LED showing humidity level This had everything. The product feels sturdy and clean and high quality. Nothing really feels cheap on this thing at all. This is miles better than the $50 BOSSJOY humidifier that I wasted my time and money on (eventually returned that one). This thing is quiet. This thing has a cool mist setting, and the warm mist setting is REALLY WARM. It also warmed up within just a few minutes. The cheaper humidifer I returned said it was supposed to turn warm after 30-40 minutes but never turned warm even after hours of leaving it on. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the humidity level but after leaving it on for one night, the number on the LED panel went from 30% humidity to 45%+ humidity. I felt really refreshed when I woke up, as well. My only concern is, is this too good to be true? Will this thing break after 2 months? So far, signs point to no. However, I'll be sure to update this review if something bad happens in the future. UPDATE: I'm docking a star. When they said you have to clean this thing every week, they really meant it. This thing builds up a LOT of limescale, and I have to spend at least 15-20 minutes once a week trying to scrub all the brown gunk that builds up in the device's pipes and crevices, and even with the included brush, you can't get every corner. The water tank itself has the same problem: there's always a thin brown layer of limescale that I have to reach in and clean by sticking my entire hand into the water tank reservoir. They should have made the water tank open up if they expected their customers to clean the water tank so thoroughly. That said, I still think it's one of the better humidifiers out there. I just didn't know that I would have to clean it this thoroughly and this often.

There were lots to choose from. A Honeywell that I had died so I needed another. The model was discontinued so I had to search from scratch. I am an extremely heavy Amazon user. As such.. I have learned that all reviews don't always reflect my experience after owning the product. I seldom leave bad reviews... I just return the product and move on. For a review.. read the product specs on the Amazon page. They truthfully represent the product so I wont repeat. Most of all the " good " reviews reflect my experience so I won't repeat them. What concerned me most were the bad reviews or low reviews. They actually prevented me from purchasing the product till I went on Youtube and did a lot of watching. I am stumped as to why a lot of reviews had problems. This is the nicest unit I have ever owned. I love the shape and feel of the products. I love the remote as it is exactly the same as the touch pannel on the unit. FOR ME.. it is easier to use the remote. The only small confusion was that I was expecting either Cold or Hot mist. The unit defaults with cool mist... and you then ADD heat to that. You select the level of cool mist you want... 1 2 3 AND THEN you add 1-2 levels of heat. I started at 1 for cool and then added 3 for heat. For winter.. this was perfect for me. The control is intuitive and you only need to read the manual once. It is easy to remember. There is an option to register the unit. It extends warranty an extra year. I used a special address so as if they spam me.. I can shut it down.. but it did not seem like that sort of outfit. Overall I am very pleased. I will update after winter. It is November 2019. I have not had to clean the unit but the directions were very clear and the parts very easy to clean and get at. Overall .. I am probably going to buy one for my daughter. I hate getting her crap and this really seems like a nice unit Hope this helps you if this is sort of information you are looking for. As I said in the beginning.... I detest canned reviews that were often paid for or "bargained" for to get a good review. I’ve owned this humidifier since November 2023 and it’s still going strong! I live in a small, one bedroom condo and keep this in my bedroom and it humidifies the entire place. I use only distilled water in it as the tap water where I live is very hard. Distilled water makes the cleaning very easy as I’m not cleaning up build up of minerals or scaling, just cleaning any bacteria that builds up over time. Since I do not need to use the included water filter, I remove the part that houses it which equals less things to clean. I also do not use the little felt pad because we use distilled water. I haven’t used the aromatherapy pad. The top fill is a game changer and makes replenishing water so quick, easy, and hygienic. I use to hate flipping my old humidifier over to unscrew the wet cap and then flip the full, heavy reservoir onto the base. Overnight, I go through about a gallon of distilled water. If I’m home during the day I typically go through 2 gallons (one during the day and one overnight). If we get particularly cold weather then I will go through maybe 2 1/2-3 gallons in an entire day as the forced air heating runs more frequently. If the weather isn’t as cold, a gallon of water could last 2 nights or more, and one gallon would suffice for an entire day. I will say that the humidity reading is off by about 15% in my case, so I have to set the target humidity higher so that I get to the level I actually want, not lower. It’s not a problem once you tweak it to give you the humidity you need. I also set the warm mist level to high as I believe the warm mist is much more effective and beneficial than the cold mist. It is quiet. With the warm setting set to high you do hear a “simmer/boiling” sound however I do find that sound to be soothing, like a pot of soup on the stove. I use the app to control it and set it on a schedule. I love that I don’t have to remember to turn it off before I go to work in the morning. The app is very user friendly and even has additional features like plant care. I’ve added every plant I have to the app and it reminds me when to water and fertilize them which has made my black thumb a bit greener! My plants are thriving thanks to that feature. Whenever this device decides to give up, I will buy the same one again. I’ve recommended this product to anyone who asks. It really saves my sinuses in the dry north east winters. And it really saves my husband’s skin, he suffers from eczema. No more nose bleeds and no more eczema break outs! Comfort in the dead of winter. Buy this!

I bought one of these last year and it worked so well I bought another. The machine is easy to use and produces a considerable amount of humidity which my guitars love. I do too. The machine is quiet, reliable, and has many useful features which permit a high degree of customization for your needs. The water tank hold 1.6 liters which is about half a gallon. Filled, it weighs 8 pounds. You then have to correctly fit the tank in the humidifier base. If you have grip or strength difficulties, you need to consider this, but realize this is not a flaw in the product. As additional praise for Levoit and this machine I can extol the virtues of their service people. On the second machine, the tank cap did not fit properly. I put the tank cap on the older one on and it fit properly. I waited a couple of weeks to see if the cap might not "break in" and work better, but it got worse. I contacted Levoit by telephone, explained the problem, and sent them verification of my order. They immediately sent me a free replacement cap. It fits as it should. So. The machine is effective. The service people are effective. I think the price is fair for the value of the machine. I highly recommend this humidifier and I have tried others (ones with filters which other reviewers have noted seem to be the main point of the thing - to sell more filters). This is good product and a trustworthy company.

First of all I will fully refute the reviews about it's longevity. I bought this last November and we use it every single night in my daughter's room. She has sever eczema. She's on steroid ointment that we've had to regularly apply multiple times a week since she was an infant. The steroid ointment seemed to stop being as effective so I looked into an alternative solution. Based on the mostly good reviews of this unit and the fact that it provides options for both hot and cold humidity, I gave it a go. Within a couple of days the results were amazing! By the 3rd night her skin was as clear as I've ever seen it. We leave it on auto and it keeps her room at about 65% humidity. Yes, that is not good for the items in her room, paint, and windows, but I don't care as long as my daughter's skin doesn't look like she's been rolling around in poison ivy. Almost everything in her room has a thin layer of white film on it. Again, this is a minimal concern and IMO is a testament to the power of this little thing. I've used 2 other humidifiers in the past and this one blows them both out of the water. After about 5 months I finally decided to clean it because it was really starting to get noisy. Compared to others, this thing cleaned incredibly easily. The cakes of lime build up simply washed away with a rinse, and the little heating square thing (filter maybe?) was the only thing that had to actually be scraped off. 10 minutes and it was back together as quiet as a mouse once again! I don't leave many reviews but I wanted to leave this one for other parents out there struggling with a child with severe eczema. I would buy this again in an instant if it died on me today. When she stays a few days away from home, her eczema starts to flare up again, but this little humidifier keeps it in check amazingly. Don't listen to the bad reviews. I know it sucks to receive a faulty item, but if it behaves as it should, it easily deserves 6 stars!

Function is good. Does an ok job of humidifying a 15x20 foot bedroom. Mist and heat control is good and easy to set with remote control. The down side is how difficult it is to fill. The tank must be removed and it is awkward. When you lift it off of the unit, it drips all over the place. Removing the large screw cap and filling it is also awkward. And lugging it back and putting it on the humidifier is awkward. Your mileage may vary, but where I am, it needs to be filled every day in the Winter.

Ich bin sehr zufrieden mit dem Gerät. Das Gerät kam ohne Beschädigungen bei mir an. Nach dem Auspacken und auffüllen des Wassertanks konnte es direkt los gehen. Die Automatikfunktion ist nicht so das richtige für mich, weswegen ich meine Wünsche einfach Manuell eingestellt habe. Ich finde es gut, dass man einen Wunschwert einstellen kann z.B. 50% Luftfeuchtigkeit und das Gerät beim erreichen dieses Wertes sich ausschalten und nach 5% Absenkung (45%) dann sich wieder einschaltet. Die Möglichkeit auch eine Heizung einzuschalten, bietet mehrere Vorteile wie z.B. schnellere Bindung mit der Umgebungsluft und weniger Abkühlung der Umgebungsluft (im Winter z.B.). Ich selber habe das Gerät zunächst mit 7dH Wasser verwendet. Dennoch ist Zuviel Kalk im Wasser und Mineralien sowieso. Ich habe jetzt Destilliertes Wasser gekauft und damit habe ich keinen "Kalk-Nebel" mehr. Der Tank hält ca. 2,5 Tage mit je ca. 8-10 Stunden Arbeitszeit auf einer Nebelstärke von 1. Also ca. 20-25 Stunden mit einer 6L Tankfüllung auf der Stufe 1. Kann ich nur Empfehlen. Ho un soggiorno di 60mq con stufa a legna che scalda e secca notevolmente l’aria. Sono arrivato anche al 35% di umidità in ambiente con conseguenti problemi di secchezza della gola (sopratutto nei bambini). Mi serviva un umidificatore potente, con molta autonomia e che facesse anche vapore caldo all’occorrenza (più sano e di aiuto alla secchezza delle vie respiratorie). Ho trovato questo in offerta usato come nuovo (60€!). Preso con l’intenzione di rimandarlo al mittente se mi avesse deluso come altri due in precedenza. Che dire: FANTASTICO. Un umidificatore vero! Automatico volendo. 5 litri di autonomia che mi portano l’umidità al 55% per 4gg senza problemi. Silenziosissimo! Posizionato in soggiorno vicino alla tv non si sente minimamente. Facile da caricare e da pulire. Raccomando di usare solo acqua demineralizzata o d’osmosi. Non ha nulla a che vedere con i diffusori di essenze ambiente spacciati per umidificatori. Quelli fanno solo profumo. Questo fa VAPORE. Vale sicuramente il prezzo anche da nuovo ovviamente. Provato per 2 mesi e ne sono ancora un felice utilizzatore. Non posso che consigliarlo a chiunque abbia le mie esigenze.

Firstly the reviews for this product on amazon are mostly for another product. You can see the photos summited are for another humidifier model. They switched the product so they can use the good ratings of another product to boost the sales of the new product. Amazon need to do something about this but they turn a blind eye. I think lot of people just don't tighten the seal properly then they get leaks then leave unhelpful reviews. For me, this product is great. Very easy to use. Only problem is you get a gluping sound which may be a problem when using in the bedroom for light sleepers. I got used to it in a few days and no longer a problem. And I think a top-fill version would have been more convenient. I use with brita filtered water and have to refill everyday for highest setting or every 2 days for lowest setting. I get quite a bit of limescale so I wash it every few weeks with a brush. It's kind of a hassle to use this way but it will reduce limescale and i suspect will prolong the product life. The remotecontrol and buttons on the unit are very simple to use, very intuitive. It's not silent, though it is very quiet. It's a bit more noisy if you use the heating feature. Has an auto shut off when it runs out of water. Overall I'm very happy with this product. If i get 2 years use of it i'll consider it money very well spent.

Fait son job , mais il est parfois bruyant . J’ai aussi quelques difficultés à le régler ou alors il dépasse le pourcentage demandé .. ça reste un bon produit pour les plantes mais je le surveille du coup .

Estupendo humidificador. Después de haber pasado por otros modelos y algunos de la marca Chico, sin duda este es muchísimo mejor. Fácil de usar y gran capacidad de agua. Pasan muchos días sin tener que rellenarlo. No hace ruido y automáticamente nivela y dirige el nivel de humedad que quieras tener. Con pocas gotas de aceite esencial te perfuma la sala y si el aroma es de tomillo o eucalipto, te crea un ambiente sano para problemas de tos o resfriado. Lo recomiendo encarecidamente
