Lightweight and works as described. So great I've purchased it again. No strange odor or color, just does the job to restore the natural wood vitality.

I got this to season my new bamboo cutting boards. It had great reviews, so I gave it a try. I put a generous amount of the oil on the cutting boards and let it sit overnight. The next morning, the boards were dry and still rough to the touch, so I added more oil and let them sit. I checked them about 6 hours later and needed to apply more oil. I let them sit overnight. The next morning, they were better, but I added one last coating and let them sit. They are now perfect, and the oil penetrated the wood very well. It darkened the wood just a bit, but I like the new color. There is no smell, its mineral oil after all, and food grade, so win win. I will recoat in a week, as recommended, but so far, I am super happy, and the price was reasonable

I use this product on my kitchen cabinets to bring out the natural tones of my cabinets and my butcher block coffee corner. It brings out the true highlights and grain of the wood. It is very easy to use. Really like this product!!

Easy to apply and clean up. Keeps my new cutting board looking fresh! A lot of oil goes a long way too so good value!

Unfortunately the product came separately wrapped (with other items) and with a seal under the lid, but still leaked and got all over everything. It wasn’t enough that I feel like I lost significant product, but being an oil, it made quite a mess. Thankfully it didn’t ruin anything else I ordered! The product, however, is GREAT! I ordered it because I have a bamboo cutting board that has been abused and not conditioned in quite a few years and the last time I tried to condition it I used a cooking oil which worked a little but was also messy and sticky and definitely not what I was looking for. This product worked great! The cutting board was in BAD shape and I actually plan to treat it multiple times before using again, but this stuff is working! This board was really REALLY dry! But what really impressed me is my handmade farmhouse table. I have tried to use “orange glow” on it in the past. The conditioning doesn’t last long and it leaves the table greasy and I don’t think it’s exactly food safe. I began treating the table top with Bayes as well, as it had not been cleaned or treated for some time. I’m amazed! It is deep conditioning it, doesn’t leave it greasy, and is food safe! I am submitting a picture showing part of the table treated and part untreated - this treatment has been on for 2 weeks and the wood has remained conditioned! I have treated a large surface area that was very much in need and have only used 1/4 of a 12oz bottle. I would say if you have nice items and do regular maintenance that the Bayes oil will last you a long time! I will most definitely be treating everything I can think of and buying a new bottle!

Great for protecting your wooden cutting boards. The scent is light and it's easy to apply. A must for your cutting boards as it has protected mine from cracking and warping!
