11-Piece Porcelain Petite Fleur Porcelain Tea Set, Pink

Lovely set. It is obviously not topnotch hand painted bone china quality, but I didn't expect that level so I am perfectly happy with it. If you are looking for that level of quality at a steal of a price though, you may be disappointed. For the price I paid, this is a great buy for full service for four. It's a great everyday set. The porcelain is good quality. Not too heavy yet sturdy. I've had it for two days, and have used it twice since I got it. As someone else noted in their review, the porcelain is actually a cream color and not white. I got the green set, and love the colors on it. The decoration is mostly decals, but they seem carefully placed and not haphazard like some other cheaper teacups I've seen. The gold accents look like they were hand painted. The cups are the perfect size for a nice cup of tea. The pot is also a great size, filled all the way up I can fill the teacup 6-8 times. It's mostly just me who has tea, so the sizes are perfect for my use. Not so small as to be useless, but not so large that the pieces are cumbersome for everyday use. It's very hard to find this sort of vintage style set at this price point, so it's a great value and I really love this cute set.

I've been watching the price on this set for a while. It dropped, and I jumped. It arrived today. All the pieces are perfect, no chips, cracks, glaze issues, or transfer issues. They came very well packed, each piece wrapped and inside a small box, all the small boxes in a bigger box, and the bigger box in an even bigger box filled with air bags. They aren't fine bone china, but at this price, I don't think you can get anything finer or prettier. I got the Cream, which corresponds to the Pink Petite Fleur in the snack set I already had (teacup and snack plate/saucer combo, also beautiful). The inevitable teapot dribble is negligible. The teapot has been keeping my tea warm for about three hours now without a cozy. The cups are a nice size and shape. I noticed in the Q&A that people have asked where they're made and whether or not they're dishwasher safe. The stamp/maker's mark on the bottom says "Gracie China by Coastline Imports, Dishwasher Safe, Made in China." Although I would note that the gold paint trim might not last as long if you run these through the dishwasher often - that sort of trim usually wears off over time. I would recommend these to anyone who wants a pretty tea set for everyday use. If you're expecting wafer-thin porcelain that you can see light through, though, look elsewhere. That being said, these are really special, and I'm so glad that I bought them.

This tea set by Gracie China offers good value and quality at a decent price. The teapot is elegant and practical, and the floral design has a lovely vintage charm with soft green accents on the top of the teapot. The colors are well-coordinated and the soft ivory background with gold accents adds a wonderful touch. This is a good set for a collector or for everyday usage, and the size is well-proportioned and easy to use. The glaze is even and shiny, and the gold accents are just enough to give it an old-fashioned elegance without being too flashy. I also like the shape of the handle, which is easy to use. My set was incomplete, and did not have the sugar pot with the lid, so I am unable to offer insight into that item. Overall, though, a wonderful vintage style tea set that will add charm and style to your favorite cup of tea.

I purchased this set for my granddaughter who is having a small garden tea party for her 21st birthday. I looked and looked for a functional and appropriately pretty set. Hundreds of dollars for anything worth gifting. This set is perfect. It's delicate looking yet substantial enough that you don't feel nervous about handling it. The pattern is lovely with it's creamy background, slightly fluted edges, sprinkle of rosebuds and gold and soft green details. I received it in 2 days using Amazon Prime and it was packed beautifully. Each piece individually wrapped and packed in appropriately sized boxes, nestled in a nice white outer box instead of those ugly brown boxes which made it perfect for wrapping in gift paper. I was worried that I'd have to find a nicer box but that was totally unnecessary. I examined each piece and each was flawless. No, it's not the thin porcelain that you hold up to the light and can see your finger shadow through it but who needs the stress of worrying about tapping an edge and having It chip. This set has a bit of muscle hidden beneath its delicate appearance. I you're looking for a fully functional yet feminine tea set that won't empty your wallet, this Gracie Tea Set fits that bill. I haven't given it to my granddaughter yet and I hope she loves it. I will repost her opinion of the set after she receives and uses it. As for me, I love it.

I got this set just for fun, and I'd say it's perfect for that. If I'd wanted heirloom quality, I'd have paid for Lenox or Wedgwood bone china (and paid many times the price of this porcelain set). But the "posh brands" don't tend to offer slightly over-the-top, Victorian-looking sets like this one. :-) The quality of the porcelain is fine, and the roses are nicely painted. I would say that the red at the top edges of the pieces is not quite the darker red as pictured; it's more of a bright red than I'd hoped for. But it's very cheerful and fun, and I'm not planning on asking any 19th century duchesses to afternoon tea any time soon. Heft and solidness are fine. I didn't notice any obvious imperfections. The pot features a lid with a molded-in "stay" so that it won't fall off when pouring (although I'd hold the lid anyway). The pot also has a built-in strainer, although I'd likely use a cup strainer or tea infuser. The sugar bowl's lid does not have an indentation for a spoon, but I suppose leaving a spoon in the sugar bowl would be crass anyway. I'm looking forward to having fun with this set! If I find I'm regularly using it, then someday in the future I may consider moving up to a "posh brand," and giving this set to my niece, who would get a huge kick out of it. For now, though, I think she and her Mom will be my first tea party guests!

I bought this for my mother as a mother's day gift. We both were very surprised when it arrived and we took it out of the box! The pieces are nice and big. And the porcelain is very well made. My mom is a HUGE lover of tea sets. She has many inexpensive ones in her china cabinet but she was almost in tears when she seen this one and she said it was literally the prettiest, best tea set she's ever had in her life! And I agree that it's very beautiful, well sized and very well made. I highly recommend! Btw, my mom has made tea with this set and she and I have sat with our cups on the couch and had tea time. She was more than happy. I give it a 10/10!

Adorable tea set for 4. Very reasonable price for all that you get. It's the same teapot that is sold on the Anne of Green Gables website as "Marilla's Teapot" Here I got an entire set though and didn't have to pay to ship from Canada. Recommend.

My daughter wanted these for having tea parties. They are good quality and decently made. Pretty pattern is well executed and neat. No issues with sloppiness in decoration. The dishes have been used at least weekly for some time and no fading or other issues are apparent. I would recommend these for adding a bit of fun to your life.

I recently ordered this tea set and purchased an extra 2 sets of the tea cups for a high tea I was hosting. I absolutely love this set. The quality is great. There was no damage or chips. Everything was packaged nicely. It is a really beautiful set. Now, I just have to figure out how to store it safely.
