For a listing that states "dad" and "men", I wasn't expecting this. The product here claims to be a "dad hat" for men or women. I'm not sure what that means, but apparently it means a hat made for people with long hair? I'm a dad, but really my wife and daughter would be a much better fit for this. The crisscross design on the back is unique and actually pretty cool looking, it will allow someone with longer hair to exit via ponytail, and the breathable mesh on the side keeps your head cool. But that doesn't describe me or most dads I know. The marketing on this product is wonky. My wife and kids aren't really interested in it, so it's sort of a failure to launch in my opinion. If you want a ponytail hat, it's pretty cool, but they need to describe this product correctly to the right buyers.

This is definitely not a "Dad" hat as the page promotes. It has a back that seems designed for pony tails as pictured with a panel of the hat absent and replaced with two diagonal straps. Not good for men who want to protect their entire heads from the sun. Plus it is a weird design. However, if you only want to keep the sun from your face and eyes and have a head full of hair in the back this could work. I was surprised by the unique design and prefer a "normal" shaped cap. The fabric is lightweight and good for exercise however.

Just a note: most of this hat is actually mesh. Only the bill and part of the front is solid the rest is mesh so while it's good for hot days it's not going to keep your head warm
