Pleasantly surprised. The two pieces of driftwood were exactly as described regarding size. Very solid items. Not random scraps of wood but real solid pieces. Great attention spent on packaging to keep the item safe in transit. I can’t wait to treat them and get them loaded into my tank. Would totally recommend.

I got two pieces of driftwood in my order. They were a nice size, realistic-looking, and should have been perfect for my new aquarium. However, one of them will not stay at the bottom of the aquarium. It will only float. Since this is a new aquarium, I'm just going to let it soak for a while and see if it will become waterlogged naturally. I really don't want to have to boil it. If this had been for an existing aquarium, I would have been really frustrated that I couldn't just put it in the aquarium without any additional work.

Update: i bought another piece of wood. This time i bought their largest piece. It was not very good. Basically a log. Not nearly as nice as the two pieces option. I got good wood, really. You don't get a choice of what they send. So there is a risk buying something unseen. My order was two medium 12.5"-18" pieces. Both very cool looking with tan and red colors. One short and squatty the other one is a long two branch piece. Together they make a great center piece. Both have a slight buoyancy right out the box. I soaked them quite awhile and they're pretty good now but added small rock and tie wrap holds down it perfect. My pieces did not release much tea color and after soaking a second time the water was clear. Package was well wrapped not a chance for damage during shipping and you'll lneed a massive blade to open it. I would buy again.

Boiled the wood for nearly a full day to get rid of the tannins, changing the water every hour or so. I put the wood in my fish tank and everything seemed good, my fish were exploring it and found places to rest. The next day I got home from work and the tank had turned to tannin tea, one of my fish had died. I put in a filter and within a few hours the water had been cleared. I followed the filter media instructions, cleaned it, and put it back in. Everything was going fine for a few days and I was going to get another fish, before I left I noticed white mold growing all over the wood and sand. I removed the wood and ran the same routine with the filter, a couple days later my other fish died. The fish were both energetic and healthy for weeks prior to the introduction of this driftwood, I checked the reviews to see that other people had also mentioned this mold and issues with tannins despite following the instructions. Figured it was only right to share my experience as well. Protect your aquarium, stay away from this driftwood.

Great bang for your book, the value is incredible considering the fact that one of these pieces would be $30 at your nearest PetSmart. I use these ones for my snake enclosure, but I’ve also used these for aquariums as well, they are very very versatile and can work well for whatever set up! The size is great, and the naturalness is wonderful for creating a naturalistic vibe. I will definitely repurchase in the future if necessary!

Recently swapped my 20 gallon tall for a long and ordered this two pack of 12.5-18 inch pieces of driftwood to aquascape my planted aquarium. I’m very pleased with them. Came super fast. Nice looking pieces. Knocking one star because one of the thinner branch tips on one of them is cracked and may fall off. One piece is a little more arching; the other a bit more gnarled. Both are keepers though. Only really needed one piece for my 20 gallon long aquarium but I got the set of two to increase my chances of getting one good one. I might end up putting both in because they’re both really interesting pieces. Be prepared to get creative and patient if you’re not going for a “black water” environment which mimics some natural habitats. They’re too big to boil in my largest pot so I’m dunking them in the old aquarium I was about to give away to release the bulk of the tannins. I’m using about a cup of salt per 10 gallons of water to help the leaching process. I’ll replace the water after three days with fresh water for another 3 day soak. By then the one piece that’s wanting to float should have become waterlogged and sink without needing to be weighed down.

This product was exactly as described. When someone asks me to imagine two large, high-quality pieces of natural aquarium driftwood, this is exactly what comes to mind. Both pieces arrived with unique shapes, plenty of character, and looked even better in person than I had expected. The wood feels sturdy, natural, and instantly transformed the appearance of my aquarium into something far more beautiful and realistic. There were no damaged or broken sections, and both pieces were an excellent size with lots of interesting curves and branches for creating a natural aquascape. After adding them to my aquarium, I genuinely couldn’t imagine the tank without them. This is the best aquarium driftwood I have ever purchased and the only driftwood I would ever buy again. It has permanently raised my expectations for aquarium decorations, and I honestly don’t think any other pieces could compare. Simply extraordinary.

Stunning features on the wood and luckily both pieces formed an arch. Took a few days to soak fully but they look amazing. Can't wait to get the landscaping done now

I ordered this driftwood for a 55 gallon tank that I have set up. I read the reviews and decided it was a good choice. When they arrived, quickly, I should add, I unboxed the most amazing pieces of driftwood. I followed the instructions and the larger heavier piece, a root is staying down nicely. The other piece is equally beautiful but still wants to float. I have it weighted down by the stone I want to place in the tank eventually. They are the size I was hoping for and fit into my tank beautifully. Well packaged and if I ever need to order more, I will most definitely comeback to this product.

I absolutely love the pieces I received. They're a great size for my 20 gallon tank. I let them soak in the bath tub with very hot water for an hour and a half and they both sank nicely. Then added them to my tank and im in love with it, I think my betta fish dory loves her new setup as well!
