Extensive search was worth it
I bought this (like the other reviewers) for my GoPro Hero 5 Black. It's well-made (aluminum, not plastic) and the ticking and 3-second bell are non- issues for me. I looked at a lot of these, starting with the Ikea timer that I would have had to adapt into a mount. This one is the one I went with and I'm well-satisfied with it.

Works as described. Points to note... 1. Spins anti-clockwise only (when viewed from the top) ! 2. Mechanical mechanism- so you hear the inner windings like an old school wind-up clock or watch.But I did not buy this for live video with audio... so for me it works perfectly.

Not useable - wrong parts!
The parts which came with it to attach your phone to it don't even fit. Why do they send screws that don't fit the parts!? I was never even able to use this device and my class project suffered for it. 😑

It seems to work fine, but was a little put off by the shotty labeling that was markered out with permanent marker by someone and then relabeled. Doesn't leave me much trust in the overall workmanship. Am I the only one that this happened to? If so, could I receive a replacement?
