Took me awhile to get the old bearings out, but that’s no fault of the products. Once I got the surfaces cleaned up they fit right into place and the washer runs great. I bought this thing used 3 years ago and am slowly replacing the worn parts on it. I had no idea this washer was supposed to run this quiet! It went from sounding like a train was barreling through my apartment to now I can have a conversation right next to it with indoor voices during a spin cycle. If you have the patience and the confidence to replace the bearings, this kit worked great for me! Definitely beats dropping a couple hundred on another used washer that likely has bad bearings as well.

Bearings seem to be correct and fit. Comes with 2 seals. If I had not done this before I would not have known which seal to use. Other kits I have purchases from other vendors explained the older type and updated seal. The provided O ring was way larger than the O ring that came off the base of my spline, again other kits before had the same O ring. Too late to try and go anywhere to match one up so I reused my old one. Really sucks cause if it goes bad it will allow water to leak from tub into bearings and cause premature failure. New bolt was wrong size, would not even start to thread in. Again, had to reuse old bolt which is unlikely to break but if it does will be a pain to extract. Just should not have to. Bearings were just in plastic, printed seller brand name on race, no numbers on them. Time will tell the quality. The job is not easy by any means, very frustrating when it's all tore apart with no other options and parts are not right. Otherwise seller had excellent fast shipping arrived before they were supposed to. Sorry to ding you on the review. I don't usually take the time good or bad. Think this is probably my first and only review. I opened the package when it arrived, could not tell O ring was wrong till old one was out nor identify wrong bolt. Knew the difference in seals. But was too late to return when past the point of no return on the repair.

These are the correct parts for replacing the Neptune washer shaft bearings and seal. You get the bearings, both old and new style seals and the hex screw and washers for the flywheel. The bearings appear and feel like good quality and the seals are equal to the originals. The only thing you need is some moly or silicone lube for the shaft and between the two parts of the seal. Removal of the old bearings and installation of these is always a challenge, but you can save yourself the cost of a new machine for about a day's work. The front bearing usually has to be cut in pieces with a Dremel. The rear one can be driven out in one piece. If you haven't done this before, search the internet for instructions. These are the right parts, but it's a big job.

I have completed this repair on many of these Neptune washers, and I'm highly dissatisfied with the quality of the bearings. The bearings didn't last a month. I will not be purchasing these again

I have an older front loader Maytag Neptune. Which are really great machines. However the bearings will fail at some point. This issue is the bearings were not designed to be serviced. Maytag only sells the whole plastic drum with the bearings, for around the tune of 800 dollars. The races where the lip seal sits are made of carbon steel, which rusts and pits. I assume that why Maytag only sells the complete unit. However I have found using this kit works. It should be noted I did it twice. The first repair lasted a year and the bearings failed. Once I took it apart I saw the reason the bearings failed was due to water passing the lip seal. The seal was not defective, it was the pitting on the carbon steel. The second repair I applied RTV Silicone to the lip seal to fill the pitted voids in the carbon steel. This solved the water intrusion and the bearings have been working just fine.My tip is to clean the seal area very well, using a dremel or emery cloth. Then add RTV silicone before installing the seal. Allow it to cure 24 hrs prior to use.

Installed them in a Older Maytag Neptune front load old style seal. They are quite on the spin cycle which is more than can be said for the last pair. This is my 4th set of bearings in this washer and these are better than the last ones. I only gave it three stars for easy install as none of these bearings are what I would say easy to install and I have a bearing press to get them in. Bearings in this machine are not that easy to install.

Bought them n replaced the original bearings in June of 2023. A year later the bearing gave out n imploded leaving bearing grease in the washer body. Now I’m left with a dirty n rusty mess.Buy elsewhere

I purchased a supposed high quality bearing kit from this seller, I have worked on appliances for over twenty years, the Maytag bearing kits have a lifespan of about 8 years, the last kit I purchased started making noise at 2 months old and in less than three months had to be replaced , on inspection one of the bearings was not lubricated properly and failed, I reached out to the seller with a computerized response but nothing since . Don't waste your money. Kit arrived almost a week late. Opened it to repair the washer and found 2 necessary items missing. Contacted the seller and was told to simply purchase another (another 3 week wait) and to send the other one back. I had to pay to have it shipped back (even after pointing out several times it was their mistake. )HORRIBLE customer service and HORRIBLE product.
