I can’t seem to get the stand to work? It wouldn’t come out all the way.

It should come out like a picture frame. If not it could be defective

It’s made of hard plastic with a clear plastic cover over the front. I hav3 broken more iPad screens than I care to talk about and I’ve had this for several months and still (cross my fingers) have not broken it yet. I recommend it.
