Updated review- After leaving my original review, Max from customer service reached out to me attempting to correct the issue. It seemed the unit was faulty and he made sure to expedite a new unit out to me. This new version (3 status lights, old one only had 2) works great. The temperature is slightly off when low on wax (harder to regulate the heat transfer which is understandable), but anything over 1/3 full it works great. This one holds the temp to about 10 degrees between heating and reheating. I set it to just about 190 degrees, it heats to around 200 and turns back on at 190. Melts wax very fast, but without any burning. Definitely a must have machine for candle making. Customer service is top notch. Original- When turned on, it goes into "heating" mode. Regardless of what temp you set the dial, the contents are over 200 degrees. Then it will go to "keep warm". It cools down to below 150 before kicking back on, and reaching over 200 again.

Customer Service was very vigilant on my review and worked with me to find a solution. We decided to go with a newer model for my needs. One that includes a heated spout. It worked great and I am very satisfied with the newer model. ORIGINAL REVIEW I got this model because of the temp control dial, but the dial is useless and does not keep the product at that temp. You have to turn the dial up to a high temp to even get it to kick on. If you set it a lower temp it will kick into keep warm mode and in the keep warm mode the product started to solidify and clogged the spout. I lost a lot of product cleaning it out. There is a ridge around the edge that the product got stuck in and have to be pried out of. So if you are using this on more than one formula you will be wasting a lot of material. I do not know how the spout works for the product because it didn't work for me. In cleaning it though I tried it with water and the water did come out. This melter has a poor design that wastes material and will not keep the product melted at a certain temp and you have to set it to a higher temp to get the stuff to melt.

This V3 model is remarkable for its well-designed inner container, which makes cleaning much easier than I expected. The quick liquid outlet design also eliminates the waste of residual liquid. The temperature control range is wide, making it suitable for both making candles and handmade soaps. The overall texture of the machine is excellent, being sturdy and durable. It is an ideal equipment for those engaged in the long-term handmade production industry. It is very convenient to use.

Im so sad. I feel like there is something very wrong with this melter. This is not my first Toauto - it’s my *third*. At my normal 200 degree melting temp, it BOILED my wax and gave me tons of bubbles. . Kicked it down to 185 and it’s hissing and popping like chicken grease. This is with a full tank, too. The top isn’t melted and the bottom is boiling. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. Not only was it $100, but it’s now full of wax because I needed it for a wholesale order. I can’t use this thing - it seems very dangerous. :(

So fun...made 7.5 pound candle on first attempt. Don't overheat wax.

I really appreciated the care of the packaging and the durability in the design of this product with a user friendliness in mind. The power button was coated in plastic, the device heated up fast, and the temperature control offered various heat settings The pour spout/valve was large in size and the top locked in place to help prevent spills. The instructions were easy to understand and the accessories included to start making candles were a bonus. Overall great size and design!

I am using the TOAUTO 16Lbs Large Wax Melter for Candle Making for my own candle making work and the overall experience is quite good. Due to the large capacity, a lot of wax can be melted at once, so it saves time and seems quite suitable for small businesses or regular candle making. The heating is fast and the bottom spout design makes pouring the melted wax easy and less hassle. However, the entire machine takes a while to heat up and I had to use it a few times to understand the temperature control at first. Still, it is a very effective melter due to its convenience, large size and good build quality.

I love this melter, it melts the wax so quick that is why you should be careful and always keep your eye on it. But definitely worth! Is is a game changer for candle maker like me.

Happy with my wax melter which I use for my small business making candles and wax melts to alongside my skincare range. The temperature guage is pretty accurate as I’ve checked it with my digital thermometer so for a reasonably priced bit of kit I am really pleased. The tap is heated so doesn’t get clogged. I keep a small cup underneath the tap as it drips once or twice after shutting off, so would advise that. Not a criticism really as you are bound to have residue in the tap. Easy to use, and perfect for the job so 👍🏼

I had a few different candle making machines but this one is by far the best and I had even been using pots and pans in the past. It can hold a fair amount of wax (12lbs i think) and its extremly easy to use. Cleaning is also very easy. It comes with a manual which is easy to follow and extremly simple to set up. The candles from this machine has been great so far. I'm glad I found this product!
