eKL KVM Switch, 16 Port v2.0 HDMI KVM Switch Supports Hotkeys Swapping 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 1080p 3D, 16 in 1/2 Out 16 PCs Sharing with One Set of Keyboard and Mouse

Bought two of them. One failed almost immediately but window closed before I could send it back. Second failed about 3 months later. Junk. Stay away.

Having the same issue as the other reviewer, so it is not an isolated incident:- On Macs, there is a mouse issue where you cannot select popup menu items. It's also quite buggy when dragging and clicking. I've tried four different mice, so it is indeed the eKL KVM Switch.- The active screen cuts off every 30 minutes for a few seconds. May not seem like a problem, but if you work in software that uses saved screens and panels (like editing software), it can be disruptive to your workflow.

Video cuts out every couple of hours regardless of which system is active. Only lasts a few seconds, but is still rather annoying.Logitech wireless mouse is glitchy on Mac (cannot select popup menu items), so I have to switch to Bluetooth mode when it's active.One Beelink mini Linux PC loses keyboard input immediately after switching to a different port. I have to unplug/plugin the keyboard on the PC for it to work again. I ordered a small USB 2.0 hub to see if this corrects the issue.Aside from the video glitch, essentially 2 out of 8 systems have issues that I cannot resolve without some type of physical action.UPDATE: EKL support reached out. They are working with me on resolving the issues. Will update the review according to their recommendations.FINAL UPDATE after EKL support:- OS X mouse issue was confirmed by EKL support. No resolution for this but they said they would be looking into it.- One system still loses keyboard input after switching. There is no fix available as this was identified as a compatibility issue.- Screen is still cutting out every 30 minutes on an exact interval. Tried different HDMI cables, but made no difference. EKL support was unable to reproduce it.
