I heard someone said "I tried using it for about 3 months, but it was off by about 5 minutes a day." Has anyone had a similar experience?

Not for me. It’s an automatic though so keep that in mind. You can adjust the “speed” the spring oscillates. You’ll see a + and - sign on the back of the watch. I’d recommend going to someone to open it for you. Also; like I said before, it’s automatic. The apparatus is under constant tension and motion due to the spring and the motion plate (idk what it’s called) that rewinds it for you. You can manually wind it, but if you don’t live an active lifestyle then it will stop ticking. Also, I’ve heard it’s recommended to let it unwind to let the whole thing rest. Just reset it after giving it a break!

Does the blue dial watch come with a blue strap.? Can’t tell from the pictures.

My version is blue-face but the strap is black. Doesn't detract from its good looks.
