If you are like me and have trouble hooking your necklaces on, try this connector. I had stopped wearing several of mine due to this difficulty. After I discovered this little device, I have bought several for all of my necklaces and can now take them on and off easily. It is sturdy and attractive and does the job!

Me and gold chains have a long, troubled history. Clasps have often snagged on clothing tags, etc. breaking the necklace and leaving me with either costly repairs or gold "scrap". I stopped wearing gold chains several years ago, but have some pendants with special meaning, so I saw and bought this set of gold filled magnetic clasp converters. They make all the difference in the world! They're secure enough not to come loose, light enough not to fall forward, small enough not to be noticeable with my short hair, and in the same color as my various not-yet-broken chains. I highly recommend them!

The only problem I have with this product is that the jump rings are pot metal covered in gold and are attracted to the magnets. The result is that the unit turns back on itself creating an unusual alignment or bump out in the chain. This can be uncomfortable on the back of the neck if you are wearing a high or close neck top. Otherwise, they are well finished and are small enough for the fine neck chains we all wear.

I was pleasantly surprised by the strength of these magnets. I have had others this size that were only good for small pendants. This magnet goes a few steps beyond and will hold a more substantial pendant. Will buy more. Jut wish it had a catch ring on the other end.

I purchased these for my grandmother and she loves them. She can now easily wear necklaces and bracelets and change them for her outfits without having to ask for help (which she hates!). In fact she has requested more she likes them so much, so I just bought another set.

Work great. Kept ordering more until all my chains had them. Keep multiple chains with them hanging far enough away from each other to avoid a magnetic "knot".

The metal does not tarnish. Magnets are strong. Easy to put my necklaces on now.
