I have a few dwarf citrus varieties—lemon, lime, and a young satsuma—and these spikes have made a noticeable difference in growth, foliage health, and fruit production. What I really love about this product is the convenience. Instead of mixing liquid fertilizers or trying to spread granular feed evenly, you just push these spikes into the soil near the root zone (according to the package instructions), and you're done. The nutrients are slowly released over time, so the trees get consistent feeding without risk of over-fertilizing. I apply them about once in early spring and again mid-summer, and that seems to be enough for my potted and in-ground trees. Within a few weeks of using the spikes, I typically see deeper green leaves and more vigorous new growth. One of my potted Meyer lemons that had been looking pale really perked up after I added the spikes—leaves darkened and the tree produced a healthy flush of blooms. I also appreciate that Miracle-Gro tailored this formula specifically for fruit and citrus, as not all plant food is created equal. This gives me some peace of mind that I'm giving my trees what they need without guessing. Highly recommend for both new and experienced gardeners who want a low-maintenance, effective way to support healthy citrus and fruiting plants!

Easy to apply!
This form of fertilizer is not only easy to apply, but also requires less applications. Instead of having to apply a granular or liquid fertilizer monthly, you only have to apply this fertilizer twice a year. This is great, especially when you forget to apply fertilizer on a regular basis. It is a bit more pricey than other forms of palm fertilizer, but the higher price tag is more than worth it when you only have to apply this twice a year. The only downside to this fertilizer is it can get damaged in shipping and if the spikes are broken, they are useless. I received one box that was completely broken and look like a box full of powdered chunks. I did a return and it was a bit of a hassle to securely package the box so that the product didn’t escape and then transport it to the nearest UPS for processing. I decided to try once more to order this product through Amazon and the second shipment I received everything was perfect and no broken fertilizer spikes. Fertilizer takes about a week to really green up my windmill palms.

Good but some issues.
This stuff is easy but if you have larger peach or other fruit trees, it's easier and cheaper to get a different pour type fertilizer. My biggest problem with these sticks is that they are kinda brittle, so you HAVE to put them in when the ground is wet and soft, otherwise these will break. I find it easier to just take a pick and knock a long hole in the ground and then push these in by hand, you could also use a trowel. While this fertilizer stick works as intended, my biggest complaint is they include just one plastic cap.(In theory you tap your hammer against this and it acts as a bumper for the stick so it doesn't break, kind of like your phone case protecting your phone against drops). However once on a stick, it's impossible to get it off, making it useless for the other fertilizer sticks in the pack.
