Hot Tools Pro Artist Black Gold Digital 1.25" Curling Iron

This is my all time favorite hair curler!! It heats up super fast, has a locking feature so you can’t accidentally change the temperature, curls last for days if I wanted them to! Super user friendly, and not harsh on my hair at all! Leaves my hair feeling soft and bouncy!

I can’t seem to do consistent waves or curls with my straight iron, wand, or round brush. I have them all. Per my hair dresser’s suggestion, I decided to try a good curling iron. She recommended this brand. And I love it. Sturdy but light, and the barrel is the right length and width (1.25") for my medium-long hair. The curls come out natural and loose. Heats up fast and I can lock the heat setting. Overall very easy and fast. My hair dresser suggested changing direction for every other curl, and that’s working well. I just let my hair fully dry, either naturally or with a blow dryer, and then use clips to section the hair. Getting so many compliments on my hair. Wish I’d purchased this iron sooner.

I have a Bioionic curling iron (1.25") that I've used for years and love. I wanted a 1" barrel and decided to give this option a try as it's a cheaper option, but reviews indicated it would be comparable. To my surprise, I like the HOT TOOLS Pro Artist iron MORE than my expensive Bioionic. It was smoother on my hair (no tugging/snags), heated up faster, left no creases, and just overall felt like a quality iron. Excited to keep playing around with it. I have medium/long length hair and had no issues with barrel length or size.

I seem to be the third customer with this box mixup. 1 1/4 inch item was received correctly based on item number and UPC code. Front of manufacturer box mistakenly says 1 1/2 inch. I was quickly able to cancel my return and replacement with Amazon after I realized others had same issue and in fact I received the correct sized item.

I’m not a newbie to Hot Tools products. I’ve been eyeing this curling iron based on the aesthetic of it lol. It also matches with my rose gold titanium flat iron by Hot Tools. The Curling Iron: It’s very sleek and light without feeling and looking cheap. It heats quickly and easy to use. The iron glides on the hair and doesn’t get caught on the clamp. It’s a super smooth process. It also seems to leave a slight sheen to the hair. Curl Pattern: Don’t expect tight curls. This iron will give you beautiful tousled curls. If that’s not what you’re looking for, don’t purchase this iron. Overall, the price of the iron is a steal for the quality you receive. If you’re on the fence about purchasing this, do it!

After less than a year, the clamp now won’t close, so the hair just slips through. It heats up quickly, and I’ve used it for almost two seasons of my daughter’s cheer teams, but now I have to use it like a curling wand.

This model is easy to maneuver and handle even with arthritic hands. The digital heat sensor is easy to read and heats up quickly. Short stand on appliance makes it easy to place on counter to cool off. Very long cord is convenient.

Aprendí a hacerme ondas con esto, es un poco grande, pero me encanta que puedes ajustar la temperatura a tu gusto, super facil de usar y hacer unas ondas grandes super lindas, perfecta para estilizar el cabello

El producto venía bien protegido pero al abrirlo al parecer ya había sido sacado con anterioridad, como se puede ver el cable venía suelto la caja en donde entra el cable giratorio estaba roto, la tenaza venía con una especie de producto aceitosa, y al conectarla como se ve no enciende. Sin duda haré la devolución.
