I have been looking for months for something for my daughter’s tangly, frizzy hair. I have fragrance sensitivity and everything smelled terrible. This one is actually fragrance free and works, not too heavy either. Perfect for fine hair! Highly recommend!

I hesitated before purchasing this due to the negative reviews about choking. But there are very few truly fragrance free detanglers (and also few good conditioners) on the market, and I have extreme fragrance allergies. So I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did. It makes a huge difference in detangling my wet hair and leaves no odor, stickiness or residue. I do NOT cough from the product being on my hair, only if I breath in the mist. As other reviewers have suggested, hold your breath and walk to a different area after spraying it, or pour some into your hand instead of spraying. It's a rare product that will satisfy everyone, all of the time. Given the limitations of living in a fragrance free world, the minor inconvenience of holding my breath when applying this is well worth it to have tangle free hair. I hope they never stop making it!

This detangler does a great job of getting snarls out of both my hair and my 7 year old's hair. I use it while my hair is damp, but it is just as effective on dry hair. It doesn't weigh down my fine hair and leaves my hair soft and moveable. The best part is that it doesn't irritate my scalp as I am allergic to fragrance. I do have to be honest - it doesn't smell that great, but I will take the smell of the product over an itchy and irritated scalp any day. My little prefers to use this stuff that is "stinky" over her scented sprays due to its effectiveness for her major bed head.Edit 7.24.24: I noticed some foul smelling rust colored liquid today on the spray nozzle, dripping into the liquid. I'm emailing the company to alert them and get further instructions.7.15.24 The company responded quickly, advised I toss the bottle of product, and are sending me a replacement. Great customer service!

I was very hesitant to purchase this leave in conditioner/hair de-tangler due to the reviews about it making people cough as I was purchasing this due to my sensitivity to smells/toxins/air borne toxins. Because a few others made the leap of faith I did so as well. My 11 yr old daughter has very long, fine, curly hair. We used it in the shower, with the shower still running, after the shampoo and regular conditioner had been rinsed out. I combed through her tangles, spraying this product each time I found a snarl. It was AMAZING how quickly the tangles un-tangled. We had no issues with any coughing. I wonder if it is because we used it when the shower was still running and anything in the air got washed away with the water. That is my guess. I don't know if that is the case, but what I do know if I'm purchasing another bottle right away so we can keep one upstairs and one downstairs. The next day after the application, her hair was still easy to comb through. Now we are on day 3 and so far, so great.

This product works great! It has No scent, deranges my hair, and makes it soft. I’ve had the product for a few months and noticed a smell. I opened the bottle and no smell was coming from the product but then I noticed the sprayer. It looks as though the spring has rusted and is giving a fishy smell. I will have to transfer into another bottle.

This is not fragrance free, it smells like meat. When I first got it, the smell was less noticeable, but after only a few weeks its starting to have a bad smell. Its all over my clothes and apartment. Gross!

Product works well

So far, I love this detangler. It has absolutely no fragrance and I don’t seem to be having a reaction to the ingredients. It also detangles my fine wavy hair very quickly. So it’s much easier to comb out with my wet tangle brush now- it even has a little bit of a conditioning effect, especially if I let it dry naturally for the waves and curls. I did not experience any issues with weird smells or anything like that and I hope that will continue. I’m going to order another bottle so I have a lot of. I don’t use very much because I have very fine hair. * I am updating because I forgot to mention that some of this had leaked from the bottle when packaged / shipped. I will mention this when ordering again. It needs a plastic cover to stop leakage.
