Fun and educational
Got this for my kids as they love their Giant Microbes "Flu." Giant Microbes 5"-7" Plush Flu Microbe A friend gave flu to one of my boys and he absolutely fell in love with the entire line (5 and 3 y/o). They are a real conversation starter as they bring these guys everywhere and it was a good way to make "germs" a friendlier topic. We talked about the importance of hand washing and how germs are spread. These have held up so well over the past several months with 2 active boys that take them everywhere they go and even sleep with them. We did have to handwash them and they even survived that although I'm not sure you're supposed to wash them. Each microbe comes with a tag that includes facts about the microbe so that was wonderful! These would be a great gift for science teachers, healthcare workers and even vets (check out the vet microbes GiantMicrobes - GiantMicrobes - Heartworm - -

Cute and great for kids who are tactile
My special needs child had one previous to this and loved it. He passed away and this one was purchased for his casket but speaking to his first one he loves feeling the tenticle things. Plus it is silly and fun

So ugly, it’s cute!
A friend of mine got E. coli so I bought this for her! It’s so silly and goofy that it was exactly what the doctor ordered!

Great For Show and Tell!
We are probably terrible people, but we bought this for our daughter while she was in the hospital with an E. Coli infection. It was a terrible time, but it made us laugh and it made the doctors laugh too. That was 7 years ago and it is still one of her favorite toys. She brought it to school this past year so she could explain to her class all about E. Coli. It's held up through many washings (ironically).
