Soap scratched my skin
I liked this soap in some ways. It has a nice scent and I have always liked African Black Soap because it is said to have healing properties. This soap comes not in a formed bar, but in pieces that appear to have been chipped off a larger piece. Not coming in a bar is fine, but there are little sharp things in it that hurt and cause scratches. The first time I took a shower with it, after the shower I noticed a lot of scratches on my arm. I know they were from the soap, because as I was showering I could feel the sharp things scratching my skin. I suppose the sharp things (not sure what they are) are due to the fact that the soap is very minimally processed and rustic, which I like. But I don't like being scratched when I shower.
