I was handed this book by a very good friend of mine. Her comments, read this, she reminds me of you! that immediately become interesting as one wonders what the reader has perceived of one to say this. I had not head of Shobha before now. My loss. Her stories, real, honest sometimes cringing are written well, she allowed me to enter her life, there were times i thought i knew Shobha and her family.I recommend this book to anyone, and def to British Asian. It gives a good script on culture and some geographic knowledge on mumbai aswell as asian bollywood goss....
