This is a very cute miniature. Even though every single piece of cake had to make from a scratch, it turned out very well.

I found this little gem during Amazon Prime days and couldn't resist. The directions are printed a bit small for these old eyes but with a little searching, I found a set online that I was able to download and even a video on YouTube showing assembly. I wouldn't recommend this for a young child because assembly was fiddly and I ruined a few pieces buy I was able to work around that by making my own exhaust hood over the range and getting the little laser cut stools from another vendor. This is roughly 1/24 a scale in case you want to personalize yours. It came with some tools but I also recommend Beacon 3 in 1 glue, a good exacto knife, ruler and cutting mat and a Xyron sticker maker...all stuff you can find here on Amazon. Other than that all you need is a steady hand and some patience.

So this one might not be the best for beginners. I am somewhat of a novice with miniatures myself, and have almost given up a few times, only to realize I misunderstood instructions. to be fair, this might be my fault to a point, so I won't hold that against them TOO much. Just make sure you read them carefully, and The best part for me was making the food and the dinner plates. You have to like doing that finicky stuff like I do. I loved that they gave you a piece of the cane to cut yourself, so you can make the grapefruit squares as thick or as thin as you prefer. I was so surprised at the amount of things that can be done with paper and look realistic here! I knocked one star down, because I was underwhelmed with the refrigerator. In a Kitchen setting, I really want to be able to open the 'fridge, and we are unable to here. It is possible to replace it with a different one, or make your own, if you would really want to. Overall, I would recommend. It's a nice gift for someone who already does these, (but maybe not for a beginner) But you could still do this as a beginner, just certain things might discourage you. It was fun. Keep these away from cats, My cat ran off with a finished stool that I have still not recovered yet!

My bestie makes dollhouse miniatures and this was a bday gift to add to her collection. She really liked it. Recommend for anyone who makes dollhouses or as a gift if you know someone who does make them.

I enjoyed this. Really love putting these together. This, however, had missing pieces and the floor was too big for the base it was sitting on and it caused a gap. I had to work with what I had. I could not get the stools right and they were lopsided. I messed it up so bad and I’m just disappointed. I really wanted it to work. Couldn’t even glue the dust proof protection right that goes around it. It was a lot of work but looks like a child put it together. 😭😭😭😭

I have built several of these. They are absolutely amazing when they’re done. The details are incredible. I thoroughly enjoy it. You just have to have patience.

I can’t put into words how much I hate this thing. I spent literally hours tediously putting this thing together for my nephew after buying it as a bonding activity and being left alone with it after my nephew lost interest 3 hours into the project (understandably). I finally finished weeks later and it looks like I spent about an hour on it. It’s way harder than it looks, so it doesn’t feel rewarding at all. The final insult was the acrylic cover, which is basically impossible to put together. I finally got it together after the most tedious, meticulous, time-consuming effort, then it immediately fell apart the first time I tried to remove it. If I could pay money to get my time back, I would gladly pay to never have to see this again. I honestly don’t even know if I want to give it to my nephew at this point. (What if my niece decides to ask me to finish hers?!?) If you’re interested in miniature kits, just pay a little extra and do one of the Rolife ones. If you want to torture yourself (or someone else), buy this kit. I wish I could give it negative stars.

Not worth it. This is my first miniature world I built though I will try it again I will try another brand. This one it tiny. Most of the pieces are cheap paper you have to cut out and glue to cheap wood. The wood pieces are not cut to the correct size. I will not buy from this brand again

My second kit from this brand, this one even came with few basic tools like tweezers, ruler, screwdriver, I'm not sure if they all do now. It takes patience and good glue. Assembling all the books is tedious, but the furniture comes together fast. I'll be buying more in the future.
