Great Addition for Overall Pet Health
I added the Nordic Naturals Omega 3 Pet Supplement to my dog’s routine and have been really happy with it. I mix it into her homemade DIY food, and it has been an easy way to boost her nutrition without changing much of her routine. She eats it without any issues so it must taste good which makes it simple to stay consistent. After using it regularly, I have noticed her coat looking healthier shinny and feeling softer. It has been a nice addition for overall health support. I also appreciate the quality of the product and feel good about including it in her meals. It’s also a good amount at a good price. Overall this has been a great supplement and I would definitely recommend it to anyone making their own dog food or just looking to support their dog’s health.

High Quality Fish Oil
This stuff is great! I have to give fish oil that has a specific amount of EPA/DHA (something in the fish oil) to my dog that has severe bilateral hip dysplasia. This stuff was really the only fish oil that met the requirements in 1 TBS, other fish oil I would have had to give her about 5 TBS. It is a little more expensive than other fish oils but totally worth it. Not only does this help her joints, this also keeps her coat extremely soft. We use to give my other dog a different fish oil, and her coat was never as soft and shiny. When we moved her to this fish oil as well, her coat became softer as well. This does not come with a dispenser and it is very messy to just pour out of the bottle, so I just use an oil dispenser which works perfect. This does not make my dogs breath smell like fish, and it only really smells if you get it on your hands (can wash off easy)

trusted product, easy to administer, helping my geriatric 18 y/o kitty feel/move better
I went with Nordic Naturals because I trust these products and have used a few for myself. As hoped, this fish oil supplement seems to be helping my little old man move around better and feel better in short time. My 18 years old kitty is healthy save for some arthritis and a slightly shaggy, dandruff laden coat. I purchased this to help his skin and fur, but also because I read that fish oils help with inflammation and pairs well with use of glucosamine supplements. I chose products in liquid form because my boy is super picky and would never eat a soft chew. He doesn't even like the supplements mixed in with his food, but seems more receptive over a chew. Also, I can administer it as needed. And most days that is what I do. With his arthritis, he hasn't been able to jump up, and he tends to favor a leg. I have made adaptations (moving litter boxes, having more sleeping areas lower to ground, or easier to get to, bought some pet stairs and ramps for easier access, etc). The vet said to try a couple of supplements (specifically glucosamine/condroitin and a fish oil) rather than going on a prescription. So that is what brought me here to look for something for him. He has been on this for 2-3 weeks now. I would say it was within a few days I noticed that he was coming out and about more. He likely wont be returning to jumping up on stuff (but who knows!) but he has has a smoother gait as he walks. He had been hanging out in one room, but now he seems to feel well enough to come out into a couple more rooms. I have areas set up with pet stairs so he can at least get up onto some low climbers and sleep (and hang out with his family!!). There is no shortage of options for him, and I am glad he is making use of the few easier ones I have for him. He looks more perky, and there is a little more sheen to his coat. This is the other item I am using along side with it. https://smile.amazon.com/Paramount-Pet-Health-Glucosamine-Chondroitin/dp/B07DQTF6XB/ref=sr_1_1_sspa?dchild=1&keywords=Paramount+Pet+Health+100%25+Natural+Glucosamine+for+Cats&qid=1599679263&sr=8-1-spons&psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExQzBDM0xKNlBZMlpZJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMDI4MDAwMVExNFBYR1pVMVpVUiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwODEyMDU2MTFaTlo3OE5VSVNNNCZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

Be careful with dose….
This product is amazing with quick results BUT be careful with the dose! I am fostering a cat that came from a nasty situation. He was a stress ball with dull fur and tons of dander. I could feel lots of dry patches when I brush him.I started him on the recommended dose. He’s a 19 pound cat. Within a week we saw a major difference. His coat was shiny less dry skin. He was becoming way more affectionate. After two weeks he was having horrendous diarrhea. I took him to the vet and she said that it was from the fish oil. It’s been a month and a half, and we struggle to get the diarrhea under control. The vet told me it can stay in his system for a long time/ months. I guess I’m sharing this just to let you know maybe to start your Cat off with half of the recommended dose to make sure they can tolerate it. I don’t have a before pic because he stayed hidden for the first week but look at him now…happy and handsome!

No stank and great quality
I really don’t smell any fish oil at all. Like maybe the faintest scent. My super picky Chihuahua even eats it in whip cream. And he hates fish! Among a multitude of other things 🙄 Definitely didn’t think he was going to eat it but he did! If you figure out the dosing with a little help from ChatGPT, it’s worth it to get the bigger bottle. The tiny one is such a rip off in comparison of how much you get. But just be careful because the 8 and 16 ounce bottles are higher potency than the small breed bottle. I’m using it for two small dogs, a Chihuahua and Pomeranian. 1.5 ML for my Pomeranian because he has some itchy years/itchy skin issues. 1.25 for my Chihuahua, he’s pretty much fine except for the occasional itchy ear. for reference, my dogs are 10 and 11 pounds. This is the only fish oil my ORAGINC FILLER AND SYNTHETIC FREE trusted vitamin brand “ The pet health and nutrition center” recommend. Side bar-You should definitely check out their website because their vitamins are so much better than anything else on the market, organic, filler, additive, and artificial ingredient free, and include glandulars/probiotics/liver detox. And they’re incredibly affordable! I’ve seen a night and day difference with giving them their vitamins and their colostrum, along with this fish oil supplement. Great Skin/coat, improved mood and agility, healthier stools, more energy, better breath, stopped paw licking etc. We only get our babies for a short time, but we are their whole world. They deserve the best! May your sweet fur baby live a long and healthy fulfilled life.

Amazing product
My only negative: I’m on ordering our second 16oz bottle for our dogs, based on other reviews I was expecting to get a dropper for easy dispensing but either they only include it with smaller bottles only or they don’t include them at all anymore. I wish they at least offered it to buy separately, with 5 dogs of different sizes as well as a cat having to have two different measuring spoons is annoying and also a waste as it’s inevitable for oil to be left on the spoons and also on the rim of the bottle, which then drips and a makes a mess if we don’t wipe it off. Everything else is just five stars. Bought this particular brand on our holistic vet’s recommendation. We’ve tried a few others in the past resulting in stomach upsets or dogs just not wanting to eat it. This has a very low smell that’s barely there. It’s helped with skin and coat health immensely, particularly with our latest senior rescue that came to us with very dull coat, insane dandruff, tons of shedding and random scabs over half her body. Two months later her shedding has decreased significantly, dandruff is almost completely gone and her fur is very soft and super shiny. We also give this for heart and joint support, our two very picky old and tiny dogs with heart disease gobble it up happily when mixed with their food. It ships in a box with strong padding, I think the likelihood of the bottle being broken during shipping is very low.

Not bad, just didn’t work for my Pup
I have a Portuguese water dog that has dry skin in which I supplement with omegas. I bought this Pet oil due to the reviews and it being a bottle and not pill form; for ease of use and in hopes it would be more effective as opposed to the other (pill) I used to use. I just finished the bottle after consistent daily use and unfortunately, did not notice any change in shin of coat or texture of coat. I actually noticed her skin become even more dry than before when using a pill from another brand. So I’ll have to switch back. Some pros would be she didn’t mind the taste and I did notice an increase in nail growth! lol the smell isn’t that strong but I’m used to her food having fishy scents. Note: if you don’t have a dropper I’d suggest utilizing one as this is just a screw top that requires pouring and can get a lil messy.

Cat loves the oil and thinks it's a treat, and it works beautifully.
I wanted to wait a few weeks before I gave my review. My cat had dandruff and a localized skin condition that was causing his skin to dry and then break off, taking clumps of fur with it. Very alarming. It really was just a dry skin problem and the vet recommended fish oil. I didn't want to give him fish oil pills because I frankly wanted to avoid the rigamarole of forcing pills down a protesting cat's throat every morning. Cats don't take pills quietly, so we were either going to have to force-feed it to him or break it open and give him the liquid inside. Since we were likely going to wind up doing the latter, I skipped the pills and went straight for the liquid. We also give him dry food throughout the day, not wet food. I wasn't precisely sure how I was going to use this oil because I was afraid it would congeal or spoil and not get eaten in time. My solution was to take a single treat and put it on a plate. I'd take the dropper and put the oil on top of the treat. The first time I did this, he didn't want it: he'd never had the oil before, it was sticky, he arched his back and smacked his lips and acted like I'd ruined his treat by putting oil on it. He wouldn't take all of the oil: he would just eat the treat and leave the rest of the oil untouched. I had to use multiple treats to induce him to get most of it. I was concerned about that, because we can't go around giving him 5 treats every morning just to get him to take his medicine. It's not healthy. Within a week, he not only got used to the oil, he came to like it. It's been a couple weeks now and he LOVES it. He comes running if he realizes I'm preparing his oil + treat dish. Meows very obnoxiously. Won't stop until I set it down. He licks his plate clean and keeps licking just to make sure he didn't miss a drop, so dosing him is not an issue-- whatever I put down, he'll eat all of it. So there's two stars: the cat likes it and takes it without complaint. My cat is about 13lbs, so I gave him 75ml, which was the recommended dosage on the bottle. In hindsight, this was too much, especially as a first dosage, because it made him throw up on the second day. I reduced the dosage to 50ml and that worked perfectly. I still keep him on 50ml. Here's the other three stars: His fur is smooth and silky. His skin has stopped flaking, and the areas that were dry and scabby/scaly are clearing up. That's why I gave this five stars. Three stars because it works, two stars because the cat loves it. TL;DR: If your cat doesn't like the oil at first, act like it's a treat and give them a week. They'll probably come to like it. If your cat throws up from the recommended dose-by-weight, knock the dosage down by about 20-25ml to see if that helps. The product works and I saw significant results in fur and skin condition within three weeks. Update 8/27/18: Bought it a second time as I was starting to run out. Cat is still addicted, and it's still doing wonders for his coat and skin. 10/10 would recommend.

いい感じ!
The price is great for this amount of product. It has been great for my (35lbs) dog— his coat has gotten a lot better and so has his gut health. I don’t understand some of the reviews saying “portions for my small dog are not listed” when the label clearly says FOR LARGE dogs.

Excellent product!
My cat has complex dermatitis and is getting older now with a little arthritis. 3 months in, his skin has responded well and seems less visibly dry and his fur became silky soft! His arthritis is pretty mild so he could climb stairs fine and I could get him to play really well with good reflexes. He’s just had a harder time jumping really high at 13. After 3 months of use, I don’t know if it is making a monumental difference in his mobility, but I am very happy with the benefits to his skin to keep using! There were some complaints about washing the dropper. It really didn’t bother me, it takes a few seconds. I mostly rinse well with hot water daily and then use soap every few days. Rancid oil isn’t doing your pet any favours and it is counter productive to getting a high quality product like this to not be conscious of cleanliness.

Reputable Brand
I bought this because I believe in the brand - I take Nordic Naturals Cod Liver Oil and it is of high quality. Both dogs have only been taking it for a week so can't say whether its working yet but I bought it because my dogs do not like sardines or other fish so weren't getting the Omega 3's. One dog enjoys taking it but the fussier one needs encouragement lol.

When I received the product, the lid was loose and the fish oil inside had leaked out.
