This is Chinese skullcap. I just found out there are 2 kinds of skullcap - this and American skullcap. This extract is more stimulating and good for excitotoxicity in the brain. It helps soothe excited activity that can cause anxiety. American skullcap is similar but more sleepy. So this ND extract is something you can take anytime, day or night. It has subtle relaxation but no sedation. I took one tablet 1-2 times a day.

I struggle quite a bit with sleep (both onset and maintenance), and I've tried pretty much everything that's available over the counter for sleep. I've also tried a prescription sleep drug.
